Placement: a major drawback of bethune college would be that it doesnt have a separate placement cell for us, but bethune does conduct career counselling, workshops on communication skills. Maybe its because of the fact that its a government college and usually most of the government institutions don't have a proper placement cell but then again bethune is a brand in itself so if you pass out from here, you will surely be having a little bit more priority than private colleges. Also from 2024 we have internships provided for students and they also get a certificate for having a internship done from Bethune.
Infrastructure: Bethune provides for every necessary things a student needs. We have library one for arts and one for science. We have a gym, common room for girls, water dispenser, scholarship cells, spacious auditorium. even though the area is bit small compared to other colleges personally I think being a government college it still has more than what normal government colleges don't irrespective of its size.
Faculty: Bethune is a very renowned college and it is well known for its high level education. The teachers in bethune are a solid proof that this college is packed with the most doctorates in their every field. Even being so reputed for their teaching they do not hold a single drop of attitude. They always treat you like a normal student and always helpful when needed.
Hostel: the girls hostel of bethune college is in the salt lake area which is quite far from the campus itself. But the hostellers are being provided of every facilities required for students coming from a distance. The costing is also cheap. Bethune has a college bus for hostellers in order to provide the pick up and drop off facility. apart from the distance from college to hostel everything is upto the mark for a good hostel
