B.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology (BMIET) was founded in 1999 by Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust. The institute has been granted AICTE approval and it is affiliated with IP University (GGSIPU), Delhi. The institute ratifies entrance exams namely IPU CET, CUCET and JEE MAIN. B.M. The Institute of Engineering and Technology campus is located in Sonepat town’s outskirt area. B.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology courses includes specialisation in engineering and management courses. The courses at BMIET include B.Tech and BBA. There are several specialisations under the B.Tech course namely computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The authorities conduct the BMIET B.Tech admission based on JEE Main rank and percentage in class 12 PCM. On the other hand, the BBA admissions are based on CUCET/ IPU CET scores and class 12 percentage of the students.

The B.Tech and BBA fee at BMIET Sonepat is Rs 1,57,100 to Rs 1,32,100 and Rs 62,500 respectively. The first-year fee is inclusive of the annual fee, university fee, alumni fund and security fee. The hostel charges of Rs 50,000 is optional.
