Overall: Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi is one of the best central university in India. BHU hold rank 5th in University Ranking by nirf. The university have 14 faculties including arts, social science, science, law, education, agriculture, sanskrit vidhya dharm vigyan, dental, ayurved, nursing and modern medicine and surgery and 140 department's. Bhu also have 4 school including central hindu school, central hindu boys school, central hindu girl's school and ranveer sanskrit vidhayaly. BHU offer's bachelor, master and doctorate degree in many subjects. The overall faculties and infrastructure is above than average. And placement cell provide placement opportunities from many private companies and psu to students. The hostel and mess facilities are just awesome and education is very affordable in bhu.

Placement: BHU has a Central career guidance and placement cell and every faculty has there own placement cell also. Around 10 thousand students graduate every year from bhu and around 5 thousand students get master degree every year. But only 2-3 thousand master degree holder get on campus placement and only around one thousand graduate students get on campus placement in BHU. So placement opportunities are just average. But when we try to compare with other universities, bhu placement cell is far better. One should not get admission in bhu assuming that he'll definitely get job. BHU provide best education and help us to build our overall personality but not guaranteed placement.

Infrastructure: buildings, classrooms and other infra of BHU look's very classical from outside but the same time interior of all building are very modern style equipped with modern system including cctv,lift, smart board and projector. Every inch of campus is well occupied with free WiFi-hotspot. Labroom has all modern machine and system which is required.

Faculty: BHU is a multi disciplinary university so it's offer bachelor degree,master degree and PhD degree in almost every subject you can think . All the faculty members are top in there field. Every faculty member has PhD degree and has published atleast 2-3 research paper in international journal. So they are best in best in there subjects. They also guide students for future opportunities and job's.

Hostel: BHU owns 60+ hostel including 4 hostel for international students.every faculty has atleast 3 to 4 hostel. Girls have there own hostel with more inhanced security and all. Every hostel have there own mess and cantina which provides hygienic and good food at affordable price. Mess charge is around 4500 rupee per month. Every hostel have there own sports room, indoor ground, guest room and library. Every hostel have multiple water purifier, water chiller, geyser and washing machine this makes student's life little bit easy and convenient Hostel fee is around 2500 for a year only but only 30% of total students get hostel.
