In IIT BHU placements are great which go upto 1.5 cr . In other subject domains most students go for higher studies like mba masters etc or they prepare for govt exams.

Overall: Statistics here at BHU in my point of view is nice if you are not an extraordinary student to get into Indian statistical institute my course is STATISTICS ECONOMICS AND MATHEMATICS popularly known as EMS teachers here are very cooperative they will guide in all possible way you just need to ask them whatever queries you have. Definitely its a yes if you are an average, above average but less than extraordinary student
Placement: Like if you are doing Msc from statistics then 50% of students have chances of getting placement but for MA In statistics from BHU I don't know much. However at BA level there is no placement
Infrastructure: If you have seen pictures of BHU campus then you can't deny it's beauty. The views here at campus is mesmerizing you'll het to see peacocks beautiful birds trees and a lot more stuffs . The buildings are old giving vintage vibes . I basically love BHU CAMPUS
Faculty: One thing that amazed me was the faculty here they are really down to earth and humble. The are also very cooperative. The will clear all your doubts without letting you feel demean or anything less.
Hostel: I just love hostel here. The freedom, the foods(comparing to other hostels),the campus everything just waooo. There is freedom to stay out 6:00 am to 10:00 pm . Being a girl it was like wow to as at our home we don't get that much freedom. Also the city in this given time period felt safe to me both city and campus . The food taste similar to home's food and we also get special dishes at special ocassions like diwali holi new year ,etc
