BITS Pilani Admission 2025 - Dates, Criteria, Application Form Process

BITS Pilani admissions are offered in 10 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is conducted by the college for admission in BE, BPharm and Integrated MSc courses. BITSAT 2025 applications are expected to start in January 2025. At the PG level, for admission to MBA courses, CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024 whereas XAT 2025 exam will be held on January 5, 2025. On the other hand for BITS Pilani admission in MTech courses, GATE 2025 is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. The GPAT application portal will open in February for MPharm admission at BITS Pilani. 
 

BITS Pilani admission is offered in BE, BPharm, Integrated MSc, ME, MBA etc. courses. The institute conducts BITSAT, BITS HD and BAAT for admission. Furthermore, scores of GATE, GPAT, CAT, XAT and GMAT are also taken into consideration for BITS Pilani admission. Candidates need to obtain a good score in BISAT for admission in BE, BPharm and Integrated MSc courses. BITS Pilani admission in BE courses is done based on BITSAT scores. For 2025 admission, BITSAT application form will be released in January 2025. BITS Pilani BPharm Admission

BPharm is a four year UG course. BITS Pilani admission in BPharm course is done on the basis of BITSAT scores. The college is expected to release BITSAT 2025 applications in January. The eligibility criteria for BPharm is Class 12 with aggregate 75% with PCB and at least 60% marks in each of PCB subjects. Candidates who are state toppers in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects are offered direct admission in BPharm courses.

• State toppers in science stream (PCB) only need to fill the BITS Pilani application form for BPharm admission. 
• Other candidates need to visit the admission portal and apply for BITSAT. 
• The institute then releases the BITSAT cutoff to shortlist candidates for BITS Pilani admission. 
• Shortlisted candidates are then required to participate in BITS Pilani counselling. 
• During counselling candidates need to submit required documents and pay course fees to secure admission.

BSc + MSc is a four year integrated course. Applicants need to qualify BITSAT for admission in BSc + MSc courses. For 2025 BITS Pilani admission, BITSAT registration window is expected to be open in January 2025. According to BITS Pilani admission process, state toppers who have passed Class 12 in science stream with PCM subjects are given direct admission in BSc + MSc courses.

• Rest of the candidates need to apply for admission and appear for BITSAT.

BITS Pilani MBA Admission

For admission in MBA at BITS Pilani, admission seekers need to qualify Business Analytics Admission Test (BAAT) conducted by the college. As per BITS Pilani admission criteria, candidates who have qualified CAT/XAT/GMAT are exempted from BAAT. CAT 2024 will be held on November 24, 2024. • After successful registration on the official website, they can access the online application form which must be duly filled out with all the required information along with preference filling for courses and centres which cannot be changed post deadline. 
• Candidates should crosscheck all the filled out information and finally submit the online application form by paying a fee of Rs 3400 (for males) and Rs 2900 (for females). The aforementioned fee is prescribed if a candidate is appearing for just one session of the BITSAT exam. 
• Any candidate who wants to sit for the BITS HD Test is to indicate their three Test centres of choice.
• An application fee for the candidates who want admissions based on GPAT/GATE scores is Rs 1000 and for the other candidates through BITS HD online test the fee is Rs 3400.
• Application fee can be paid online via debit card/ credit card or net banking.
