BML Munjal University MBA Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria for MBA students are : 

>95th percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT

  • Net benefit: 100% of the tuition fee + free accommodation* + free food

90th to 94.9th percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT

  • Net benefit: 75% of the tuition fee

85th to 89.9th percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT

  • Net benefit: 50% of the tuition fee

80th to 84.9th percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT

  • Net benefit: 25% of the tuition fee

75th to 79.9th percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT

  • Net benefit: 10% of the tuition fee

>195 in NMAT

  • Net benefit: 50% of the tuition fee

181 to 195 in NMAT

  • Net benefit: 25% of the tuition fee

160 to 180 in NMAT

  • Net benefit: 10% of the tuition fee

*Free accommodation - will be provided on sharing basis. Electricity and AC facility will be paid on actuals by the student.

Scholarship Policy

  • Scholarships are not guaranteed to all the candidates fulfilling the scholarship criteria.
  • There are a limited number of scholarships which will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • All scholarships will be awarded at the sole discretion of the selection committee only after an offer of admission is made.
  • To maintain scholarships, students will have to:

a) maintain at least 7 CGPA at the end of the first year of the program.

b) maintain at least 80% attendance in every semester. 

c) not face any disciplinary action throughout the entirety of the program.

d) should be amongst the top 20% of the batch.

  • The accommodation provided for students who are awarded a scholarship is as per the discretion of the Admission Committee. If a student wishes to upgrade his/her room, the additional cost will be borne by the student.
  • The management reserves the right to change the scholarship policy as per their discretion.
  • The scholarship is applicable to tuition fees.
  • In case the student is eligible for multiple scholarship scheme, he/she will be considered for the plan awarding the highest benefit.

Scholarship Criteria for Law Programmes Economics students are :

Scholarship Policy:

A) Scholarships for law programmes will be offered on a score determined through a comprehensive interview.

B) 20% of the class shall be awarded Dean Scholarship of 25% waiver on tuition fee for the first year. The same will depend on academic performance and Interview score. The Dean may recommend a higher scholarship amount for a student that he considers exceptionally promising and capable.

C) The limited scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the above criteria, interview performance at the sole discretion of the Admission and Scholarship Committee.

D) The scholarship is not guaranteed to all the candidates fulfilling all the criteria.

  • Ishan Uday: Scholarship scheme by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for students from the North Eastern Region.
  • Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD): Central sector scholarship scheme for college and university students.
  • Hero MotoCorp E2: As part of its CSR initiative, Hero MotoCorp will provide scholarships to academically bright students under this scheme in the second-year basis their performance in their first year at BMU.
  • Hero MotoCorp HamariPari: As part of its CSR initiative, specifically to encourage girl students to pursue engineering and management, Hero MotoCorp provides scholarships in the first year to academically bright but underprivileged girls to study at BML Munjal University.
  • Defence Ward’s Scholarship: The Defence Ward’s Scholarship is for the wards of serving and retired armed forces officers and other ranks. The services that have been included are the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
  • Scholarships by the Central and State Government: If a student wants to apply for any central or state government scheme, he/she may do so independently by visiting their respective portals. 
  • Reservation for J&K and NE students: Reservation to students from J&K and the Northeast region will be awarded according to the notification issued by UGC and MHRD.

Haryana Domicile Admissions & Scholarships

(i) 25% seats for admissions in the university are reserved for students of the State of Haryana, out of which 10% seats are reserved for students belonging to Scheduled Castes of the State of Haryana.

(ii) The fee structure for the twenty-five per cent of the students who are domicile of Haryana shall be based on merit-cum-means and be as follows:

(a) one-fifth of the twenty-five per cent shall be granted full fee concession;

(b) two-fifth of the twenty-five per cent shall be granted fifty per cent fee concession;

(c) the balance two-fifth of the twenty-five per cent shall be granted twenty-five per cent fee concession.

Early Cycle Scholarship

BML Munjal University announces "Early Cycle Scholarship" for new applicants applying for Under Graduate Programs for the Academic Year 2020-21.

Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship is applicable for all Under Graduate Programs offered at the University - B.Tech, BBA, BBA+LLB, BA+LLB and BCom (Hons.).

There is no change in Eligibility criteria and Admission Process remains the same for all students.

Selection Process:

You are required to submit your completed and paid applications to the University online before 26th March 2020.

You have to clear the eligibility criteria and admissions process laid out by the University.

You must meet all the conditions outlined in the offer letter (for those offered).

Benefits:

The Early Bird Scholarship entails 10% Scholarship on First Semester Tuition Fees. 

You will be able to get the preferred choice of specialisation and also higher chances of getting into the program as this would be at the early stage of an Enrollment cycle.  

Other Terms & Conditions:

This is a one-time scholarship eligible only for the first semester and is not extend to other semesters.

You will not be eligible for 2 scholarships at any given point of time.  In case you are eligible for other Merit-Based Scholarship, you will be offered the best of two eligible scholarship

You will be required to pay the Registration Fees on or before the last date mentioned in the offer letter.
