Digital Library
In 2011 yet another important event took place in the history of University B D T Engineering College Library in the form of availing Digital Library Internet connectivity through BSNL, Davangere, under the project of TEQIP. At present we have connect to 20 computers through the TCP/IP dial-up account to access Internet. This service is provided to all the users of the Digital library to search only specific websites with the help of library staff.
BDTCE Hostel & Fees Structure
Boys Hostel
The college has Boys Hostel attached to it. It has two independent blocks which can accommodate 350 students. The room rent and service charges are nominal. The mess for both the blocks is running on dividing system. The hostel has amenities like Indoor Games, Reading room, Sports, Library, T.V. etc. For First admission, charges will be Rs. 10,000/-only. Mess Charges per month will be around Rs.1800/-
Girls Hostel
The College is providing Hostel facilities for girls students. Presently they are accommodated in rented buildings and a new girl's hostel has been built and the Ist floor construction is at finishing stage which is at walkable distance from the college campus. hostel charges for first admission will be Rs.10,000/- only. Mess Charges per month will be around Rs. 1710/-.
Students Activities & Clubs
A NSS unit is existing in the college with a nominated NSS oflicer. Regularly organise the activities in and outside the college rvlcvant to social awareness programmes.
