GITAM University, Bengaluru provides scholarships to students based on their high scores in their qualifying examinations. Scholarships of approximately Rs 30,00,00,000 (approx. US$ 4 million) are allotted every year to students with financial challenges to focus on their academic excellence.

The admission to M.Tech at GITAM (Deemed to be University) on the basis of merit in the GAT-PGT entrance test. However, if you have a valid score in GATE, you will be exempted from the entrance test and the admission will be done on the basis of GATE score. It is not mandatory to have a GATE score for admission.

GITAM Deemed University MPhil in Human Resource Management course. However, MPhil degree has been discontinued under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
