Central Institute of Hotel and Hospitality Management or CIHM Kolkata was established in 2005 to deliver education in hotel and catering management. The institute is located in Barrackpore, Kolkata. Initially, the institute was providing a three-year diploma in hotel management and catering. CIHM courses include several diploma, certificate and degree programmes in the fields of hospitality, hotel management, aviation, travel and tourism management.
CIHM Kolkata admissions are strictly based on merit. The merit list is drawn after the conduction of the CIHMFCT entrance examination. CIHM Kolkata fees for its courses are affordable. At the UG level, CIHM courses include B.Sc in hotel management, B.Sc in hospitality management, BHM, BBA in aviation, and a bachelor's in travel and tourism management. At the PG level, the institute offers an MBA, Dual MBA and EMBA courses with specialisation in Hotel, Hospitality, Hospital and Health Care, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, and CC.

CIHM applications are now open. Exam dates have not yet been confirmed. The institute will conduct its own entrance exam for CIHM Kolkata admissions. Central Institute of Hotel and Hospitality Management Application Process 2024
The application process for CIHM Kolkata is completely online. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the CIHM Kolkata application process:
- To apply for admission at CIHM Kolkata students have to first register and fill out the application form.
- After the application is filled, the registration fee of Rs 800 has to be paid in the admission office through a DD or has to be paid using online modes of payment.
- Once the fees are paid, students have to appear for the CIHM Kolkata entrance examination. Students who have qualified for the exam will have to submit the documents required for CIHM Kolkata admissions.
- Selected candidates will be notified by the institute and will have to pay the admission fees and enrollment fees.
