Useful Information for International Students - The Student Services Office (SSO) offers various services to assist international students, including a station/airport pickup service, housing assistance through a Paying Guest Housing Mela, an initial home stay service with local families, and campus orientation presentations. Additionally, there is a visiting doctor on campus during weekdays, and students are covered by medical insurance. For more details, international students are encouraged to contact the SSO office upon arrival.
Eligibility Criteria for International Students - International students are required to meet the minimum entry requirements as part of the online application process. This includes specific eligibility criteria for programs, a transcript of grades in English along with GPA or equivalent, fluency in written and spoken English, an online interview through video conferencing, and a digital portfolio as per the program’s admission procedure. Note that individual faculties may have additional requirements. Accepted applicants will receive a formal offer letter indicating the starting date of the term, which will allow them to apply for a visa.

Call for Applications - Teaching Associates Studios | Monsoon Semester 2025 - CEPT University invites applications for the position of Teaching Associates / Teaching Assistants (TA) for the Studios in the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Design, Faculty of Planning, Faculty of Technology, and Faculty of Management for Monsoon 2025. We are looking for graduates / senior students, who are interested in taking up this significant role of mentoring the students and offering their support to tutors. This experience will be valuable, particularly for those considering a career in academics. The Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant will oversee the general progress of all students and strive towards nurturing a good learning culture which encourages an exchange of ideas. They will assist tutors in preparing for the Units with academic research, administration, logistics, and coordination as required. They are expected to be present (online or on-campus) during class hours and participate in all discussions and develop resource material for the studios and courses. Studio Teaching Associates will need to spend 400 hours per semester, whereas Course Teaching Associates will need to spend 80 hours per semester. Remuneration will be at the standard TA hourly rates as applicable. The appointment will be for a minimum period of one semester, and candidates must confirm their availability for the full duration of the semester. Eligibility includes current CEPT students in good academic standing and not enrolled in any studio course, individuals with an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in the relevant field, and the application is open to Indian Nationals and others authorized to work in India. The application deadline is 5th May 2025. Interested candidates are requested to submit their application by filling up the details at https://connect.cept.ac.in. CEPT University is accepting applications for admission to the academic session 2024-25. For B.Des admissions, UCEED 2024 results has been released on the official website (uceed.iitb.ac.in). CEPT University was previously known as ‘Center for Environment, Planning & Technology’; established by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES) with the support of the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India over 56 years ago in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Until 2002 the institute was autonomous and recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). From 2002 to 2005 it was affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. In 2005, the Government of Gujarat integrated CEPT as a university and the University was recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and also recognized by UGC in 2007. CEPT NIRF ranking 2023 is 7th under the architecture category.
CEPT University is a set of four different schools that consists of the School of Architecture (SA), School of Planning (SP), School of Building Science and Technology, and School of Interior Designing. CEPT University courses include UG, PG and doctoral programs in various areas such as Architecture, Planning, etc. They believe in providing quality education and hands-on training to its learners in the area of designing, planning, building and managing human abodes.CEPT University fees lean on the higher curve, but they offer scholarships and well to meritorious students providing a fee concession. You can't apply for the CEPT University B.Arch programme based on your JEE Mains Paper 2 scores as it doesn't accept them. The CEPT Ahmedabad accepts NATA scores to offer admission to its B.Arch programme. An applicant must meet the minimum qualifying scores in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) exam as specified by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for that particular year.
Along with that, the candidate must qualify for the CEPT University eligibility criteria for B.Arch. It includes passing Class 12 in a relevant stream with 45% marks or a three-year diploma in any stream with mathematics as a compulsory subject after Class 10.
