Chaudhary Devi Lal University scholarships are offered to meritorious and economically weak students who are willing to complete their academics through CDLU. The scholarships are available to Indian nationals. With the following exemption, these scholarships shall be awarded for the pursuit of recognised post-matriculation for post-secondary studies in recognised institutions. Only applicants who truly belong to a scheduled caste and who have completed either matriculation or higher secondary education are eligible.
Candidates who are enrolled in the same level of education in a different subject after completing one stage of education, such as MSc after BA or B.Com and after BA or MA in another subject, are ineligible for the CDLU scholarship. If they are prohibited from practising medicine, students enrolled in postgraduate medical programmes will be eligible.

Chaudhary Devi Lal University merit list is the list including the names of students selected for admission to the university. to any moment during the admissions process, candidates must update or submit their qualifying examination results via official department email or postal mail, but the documents must arrive at the department in question at least one day before the counselling. Their application will be taken into account for inclusion in upcoming provisional admission lists.
According to the schedule provided, the CDLU merit list is displayed on the university website or portal in descending order of merit. The merit calculation will only go up to two digits. When establishing eligibility and merit for admission to specific programmes, percentages of marks from 0.5% and above shall not be rounded up to the next higher number.
