It is thus important that the aspirants have a solid plan regarding how to attempt or answer the questions that will be asked in the CTET 2025 entrance examination. The candidates can check below some of the major points related to CTET 2025 Preparation Tips:

    • The aspirants must focus on increasing their reading speed which will help them during attempting the long questions. Increasing the reading speed will save time and enhance their understanding as well

    • CTET 2025 paper will not have negative marking which is why it is suggested to the aspirants to attempt all the questions and not leave any question unattempted

    • During the preparatory stages, the aspirants must develop a strategy regarding which subject needs how much time. It will play a huge role on the day of the exam as certain questions in the CTET 2025 exam will be time-consuming and this time-strategy will help them isolating such questions from the rest.

    • The layman's rule for all the exams- “Do not get stuck in a question”. If an aspirant finds a question hard to comprehend, then it is strongly suggested that he/she must move to the next question. Once the entire paper is complete, the candidate may return to the unattempted questions.

    CTET 2025 Marks Normalization

The normalisation technique will be used to determine CTET exam scores. The Central Board of Secondary Education has updated the candidates who took the CTET 2025 exam. The cutoff scores rely on several different factors. The CBSE will perform the normalisation on several scales. By using a balanced set of criteria to evaluate the applicants, the CTET normalisation procedure will guarantee that the results of the CTET are fair. For instance, it's likely that Candidate A, who participated in Shift 1, considered the exam simpler than Candidate B, who participated in Shift 2 and who received a somewhat more challenging set of CTET question papers. This can ultimately result in Candidate B receiving lesser marks. The CBSE will cope with the variances in the difficulty level of the question papers by using the normalisation of scores to avoid such a situation. This will support the board's objective assessment of the candidates' performance.

Options to Explore other than CTET Exam

If the applicants fail to clear the CTET exam, the candidates need not worry. We have listed some alternative options that the candidates can explore if they fail to clear the CTET exam.

    • Option 1: - CTET exam is conducted twice a year and the candidates who failed to clear one session of CTET can start preparing for the next session of the CTET exam. For example, if the candidates fail to clear the CTET exam in June or July session, he/ she can start preparing for the December session of CTET exam. Since the candidates will have an idea of mistakes they committed in the previous session of CTET, he/ she will prepare for the upcoming session of CTET exam accordingly. Therefore, the chances of clearing the CTET exam in the subsequent attempt are high.
    • Option 2: - Various states in India conduct state-level Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the candidates who are aspiring for a career in teaching. Such candidates can apply for state-level exam. However, TET in various states is not conducted twice a year despite the mandatory rule. State-level TET exam is confined only to a particular state, and the candidate who clears the state-level TET exam will be eligible to become a teacher only in his/her state. Some of the state-level TET exams are AP TET, TNTET, OTET, OSSTET, Kerala TET, Assam TET etc.
