Overall: If you're considering Christ University, Pune Lavasa for your MBA, read this carefully. This is my honest review as a student from the 2025 batch, based on what I have experienced inside the campus. Discipline & Workload – Be Ready for Pressure Christ Lavasa is extremely disciplined, and the MBA program is designed to keep you under constant pressure. The structure is so rigorous that you'll have to meet deadlines before time. While this helps develop work ethic and resilience, it also makes life hectic. Placements – The Harsh Reality The biggest issue with Christ Lavasa’s MBA program is placements. Placements are extremely poor, and most students are struggling to get placed. In 2025, only 5 MBA students were placed, with a maximum package of ₹5 LPA, which is lower than what undergraduates are getting. Most placements are only in sales—there are no jobs in Finance, Business Analytics, or HR. The management blames students for poor placements instead of admitting that they failed to bring companies. The MBA curriculum is outdated, and companies prefer undergrads over MBA students. Christ Lavasa is 65 km from Pune, and most companies don't want to come here. Admission Process – Misleading & Partiality Many students aim for the Bangalore campus but are later told, “You’re not selected for Bangalore, but you can join Lavasa.” This is not based on merit but on their internal decisions. The university advertises high placement numbers, but the real scenario in Lavasa is completely different. Faculty & Management Issues When I joined in 2023, Jobin Sir was the HOD, and he kept MBA structured. But after he left, the entire MBA department collapsed. Politics and partiality increased, and students started getting unfairly graded. Professor Anil D'Souza is one of the worst faculty members in Lavasa’s MBA program. He teaches his own research papers instead of the required syllabus. He gives marks based on favoritism. He focuses more on storytelling than actual MBA concepts. Most of the time, students teach each other, as faculty make them present instead of teaching. However, some faculty members are still good, like Tanya Ma’am, Anshul saxena Sir, Mohit bolkr Sir, and Danish Hussain Sir. Christ Bangalore vs. Christ Lavasa – A Huge Gap Christ Bangalore doesn’t care about Lavasa campus. Rules in Lavasa are made independently, and Lavasa doesn’t follow Bangalore’s structure. Christ Bangalore uses Lavasa as a business, taking admissions but not providing the same opportunities. Campus Life – The Only Good Part Infrastructure is world-class, with football, basketball, cricket, badminton, horse riding, and a gym. Hostels are villas for boys and converted hotels for girls, providing better living standards than most colleges. Curfew is 10:30 PM, which is much better than most colleges in India. Security is strict, and no matter who you are, rules apply equally. Lots of events and activities, which keep students engaged. Final Verdict: Should You Join Christ Lavasa? ✅ Join Christ Lavasa if you want: A strict and disciplined environment. Great infrastructure and hostel facilities. A campus with lots of activities. ❌ DO NOT join Christ Lavasa if: You are looking for good placements. You want an MBA that prepares you for the industry. You expect Bangalore-level faculty and opportunities. Christ Lavasa is not the same as it was before. Most good faculty have resigned, placements are at an all-time low, and MBA students are struggling. If you're choosing Christ for placements and career growth, it’s a BIG NO. But if you're coming for discipline, events, and infrastructure, then it's a YES.
Overall: It has been a amazing experience for me to attend christ university pune lavas a, their curriculum , faculty and infrastructure is top notch but still their are some downs for the college
Faculty: Christ university have one the best faculty in sense of my department to talk about its best , one of the best teacher you can get is mr naived sir , here teacher are passionate about their subject always ready share their and knowledge and very supportive
Faculty: There is no campus placement Provided to any student in this college. if you want to pursue courses for only a degree then ISBA Institute is the best choice.
Overall: I wasn't sure what to expect from college, but this place is fostering a truly enriching experience. With a wide range of activities and approachable faculty, they're setting us up for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Faculty: The professors are encouraging and well-credentialed, providing us with valuable research experience. They use hands-on teaching methods, and we analyze research articles to gain practical knowledge.
Overall: Chirt is a very repuated and a collage with the best holistic approch. The lavasa campus is an resendicial campus where all the student not jut lean , the intract form a network and develop practicle skills. The best part is one can meet and form network for people living all ove India.
Faculty: The faculties are well trained and are encriptwr with the best knowledge including practical knowledge of the business world. The faculty here are like freinds, parentsand mentors and offer to help anytime .
