Overall: The College of Vocational Studies (CVS) benefits from experienced faculty who bring valuable industry insights into their teaching. The placement cell (Aspire) is active and strives to connect students with job opportunities through recruitment drives and internships. The name of the Annual cultural fest of CVS is Tatva which is conducted in the month of February.Overall, CVS provides a strong academic foundation with a focus on practical skills, though enhancing infrastructure and placement efforts could further elevate the student experience and career prospects.
Placement: The name of the Placement cell of CVS is Aspire which offers various internship opportunities to the students regularly. The highest package offered in CVS was Rs. 24 LPA and average package offered to the students was around 6-9 LPA. Around 75-80% students gets placed in leading companies while others opted for higher education. The College' s placement cell aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the College of Vocational Studies (CVS) provides a solid foundation for academic and extracurricular activities, though there is room for improvement. The Library is well-stocked with a range of books, journals, and digital resources. CVS boasts a well-maintained auditorium, sports facilities, and a dedicated canteen that provides affordable meals to the students. Overall, the infrastructure at CVS is functional, but a few upgrades would significantly improve the student experience.
Faculty: The faculty at CVS is one of its strong pillars, offering a blend of academic rigor and practical insights. The professors are knowledgeable and experienced, particularly in vocational and interdisciplinary courses. Many faculty members come with years of industry experience, adding real-world context to their teaching.
Hostel: Currently, there is no Hostel facilities available to the students from outside Delhi in the college premises. As a result, these students have to resort to nearby accommodation. CVS does not have an on-campus hostel, which is a significant drawback for outstation students seeking accommodation. The addition of a hostel facility would greatly benefit the overall student experience, providing convenience and enhancing a more cohesive campus life for students from other states.
Overall: Although, College placement is not that remarkable however it totally depends on your own potential as you can have job on your own. You can live the best College life here, there will be no attendance issues and much restrictions(Gender ratio is pretty good too, I have seen most girls in college than boys)
Placement: Although, it's best to pursue masters and higher studies after your graduation but still this college also provide you placements but now it's totally depends on your potential to market whether you will be selected or not (In my course BMS, it have average package of around 4.5 lakh and highest as 12 lpa).
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is pretty good, and the campus are is vast too. This college benches are not upto mark (like they have school benches) however college building will give you the vibe of North campus as it really good. College grounds are vast for you to play with friends and I have seen many people make videos for social media as the college is greenery and beautiful.
Hostel: College doesn't have any hostel however you can find many pgs in neighbourhood and there many brokers but you should not go for brokers and find pg on your own cause brokers will make you pay extra amount. If you have enough money then best thing is to take flat with one person sharing it.
