The College of Vocational Studies (CVS) was founded in 1972 to emphasise vocational courses providing students with a more practical and job-oriented degree. One of the earliest institutes in India to offer vocational education, it also is a constituent college of Delhi University (DU). CVS College aims to mix general education with knowledge and skills aimed toward jobs through its vocational programmes. The College of Vocational Studies New Delhi is accredited with an A grade by NAAC and is affiliated to the University of Delhi.
The overall students' academic success at the college has a significant impact on CVS College placements. Many students also choose to pursue higher education. The majority of the students were hired by companies in the operations, marketing, and education sectors. Students can apply for College of Vocational Studies placements once they have completed their sixth semester.
At the College of Vocational Studies placement programme, students received an average package of Rs 4 LPA and the highest package of Rs 23 LPA. The college has a special placement committee that conducts an aptitude test and schedules an interview with possible employers. The College of Vocational Studies placement cell is called Aspire which seeks to provide students with options that lead to prosperous futures. Under the direction of Dr Gauri Mishra, the CVS College placement cell has welcomed well-known companies like Aon Hewitt, Genpact, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ernst and Young to the college campus for placements and internships. The placement coordinators help bring the best employers and job opportunities to the college. Their efforts have made Aspire one of Delhi University's top placement cells. There are a total of 17 placement coordinators and two teacher conveners.
Students can apply for placements once they have completed their sixth semester. The College of Vocational Studies placement cell also organises training sessions and workshops for the student's skill training and development. During the College of Vocational Studies placements, several reputed companies and organisations offered full-time jobs and internships as well to the students. Placement: The name of the Placement cell of CVS is Aspire which offers various internship opportunities to the students regularly. The highest package offered in CVS was Rs. 24 LPA and average package offered to the students was around 6-9 LPA. Around 75-80% students gets placed in leading companies while others opted for higher education.The College' s placement cell aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional opportunities.
Placement: Although, it's best to pursue masters and higher studies after your graduation but still this college also provide you placements but now it's totally depends on your potential to market whether you will be selected or not (In my course BMS, it have average package of around 4.5 lakh and highest as 12 lpa).
Placement: Even though i never tried to get placed but from what i have heard from my colleagues i think they are pretty okay you can get placed into many MNCS after graduation
Placement: A decent placement is available, you can easy get a college placement if you are involved in college societies and have a good academic base with good CGP
