Placement: The Placement And Internship opportunity for the students of Cotton University are looked after by the Placement And Career Counselling Cell (PACCC) and Capacity Building Cell (CBC)which provides campus placement, campus interviews, students exchange, field life experience, interview preperation, practical internship to various disciplines in every semester, summer and winter internship, etc. Mostly the students of final semester and the students of Master Degree gets most of the intership opportunities and placement at various MNCs and government institutions based on their academic result and interviews, the average annual package ranges from 5LPA to 14LPA with other allowances and facilities; on an average 50-60% students from Master Degree gets successful placement and other continues with higher studies at the same as well as different institutions. As Geology is on of the most varies and job promising discipline at various governmental departments I wish to go for GSI after degree.

Overall: Cotton University was transformed for Cotton College in the year 2017, after which a huge number of developments have been made in case of infrastructure, academics, cultural section, sports category etc. With Cotton University's participation in AIU Competitions many awards have come to the institution. Beside this Cotton University carriers a historical place in the state, being the first collage of NorthEast India it has produced many famous faces over the years. The faculties of the Cotton University are very knowledgeable and helpful towards students both in academics, providing internships and student exchange programs. With construction of new laboratory and research facilities the micro fellowship program has become easy for the students. Other than this many workshops are also organised by the University authorities as well

Infrastructure: Cotton University has a rich campus life with numerous programs taking place every year starting with the Versity Week, MCB national level debate, state level entrepreneurship development program (Startup Manthan), Joint Venture, Inter Institution Quiz Competitions, AIIU Sports, Music and instrument nights, national level workshop on various topics etc. Other than this the institution also has a 24×7 opened central library with availability of 20000 books on various disciplines along with e-library that could be accessed from anywhere, the library is also installed with internet service for all; beside this all the departments also has their personal library as well where all the updated books, documents, journal are available to access. Cotton University has many active sports clubs, and taekwondo group which takes part in AIIU SPORTS every year. Other than this, the university also has Placement And Career Counselling Cell, Capacity Building Cell, Forum for Handicap, Queer, and tribes etc. There are eight hostel in total for where there are five hostels for boys and three hostels of girls, all the hostels are provided with 24×7 water supply, electricity and security personnel, every hostel has their personal kitchen, cafeteria, and cook who are selected through several interviews. Beside this all the hostels has strict timings for entry and exit; every year the hostel merit list are published for newly admitted students which are made students with good academic result as well as for those who cannot afford to pay huge rental fee. The registration are done by the authorities for both boys and girls. Cotton University is situated in the centre of the city which has access to all types of transport, therefore are huge availability of rented rooms and PG for both boys and girls where there monthly price ranges from 7000-8500 per month with basic facilities of 24×7 electricity, water supply and internet wifi services.

Faculty: The faculties of the Cotton University are very knowledgeable and helpful towards students both in academics, providing internships and student exchange programs. With construction of new laboratory and research facilities the micro fellowship program has become easy for the students. Geology is one of the successful course in the university, with a yearly fees of ₹8896 for general catagory students it covers the expanses for tuition fees, practical classes and examinations, field visit and excursion, but for students of ST catagory the fees per year is ₹1470, which gives the same experiences(the fees are same for every year). Other than this, Geology department also conducts Winter/Summer Internships for students along with Micro-Research Fellowship which fully sponsored and paid by the university. Other than this the university also has scholarship like ISHAN-UDAY which gives a scholarship amount of ₹80,000 in a financial year, along with it university also has NijutMoina scheme which gives financial aid to girl students particularly. Other than this, in the NEP-FYUGP course students with 7.5 CGPA and above also get a research project in the 8th semester which are fully funded by the University.

Overall: Cotton College is the leading College in the Gateway of Northeast (Guwahati). It is a phenomenal college providing quality education to the students. It's infrastructure and academics have been a success throughout the years. I love the College.

Placement: Cotton College is known for it's value that is has put forward to the passed out students. Even our seniors remain in contact with the faculty members after passing out. They arrange a lot of seminars and career building opportunities for the students.

Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of Cotton College is eye-catching. Everyone seeing the college for the first time would be amazed at once. The college has got all the facilities,viz, toilet,proper laboratory, digital classroom and all. I just love the College.

Faculty: The faculty here in cotton College is one of the finest faculties in the entire northeast. They believe in quality education and provide practical knowledge by making us visualise the things in a better way.

Hostel: The Hostel facility of Cotton College is very comfortable and home like. They provide good accomodation facilities for a homely environment. The food provided is healthy and hygienic.
