A) The Candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission. Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects. Physics, Chemistry and English are compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology in standard XII examinations leading to an aggregate of 50% as mentioned above.
The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC students shall have relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility.
B) Score of recognized national / state level entrance examinations are required failing which candidates will have to appear for an entrance test of the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil Deemed To Be University, Navi Mumbai.
HSC Science equivalent with minimum 50% Marks + AIET
(a) A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce of any other university recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) with at least marks decided by the State of Maharashtra and NCTE time to time.
OR
(b) Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics of any recognized university with at least marks decided by the state of Maharashtra and NCTE from time to time. He/she should have at least one school subject at the first and/or second degree level as principal/subsidiary/allied or optional subject. (School subject means the subject included in the syllabus of Secondary/Higher secondary level in the Maharashtra State).
(c) The reservation and relaxation of 5% in the total marks will be given to the candidates belonging to S.C. / S.T. / V.J.N.T. / OBC/PWD and other notified categories as per the Maharashtra State Government Rules.
Passed the HSC (Std. XII/ 10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and English as subjects and 50 % marks in aggregate at the 10 + 2 level examination.
OR
Passed Diploma in under 10+3 Diploma (any stream) Examination recognized by the central/ state government or its equivalent examination and secured minimum 50% aggregate marks. (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only).

Hold valid score at National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture for the academic year (with minimum 35% valid score)

Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission. Obtained a certificate in RGNM and registered as R.N. R. M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the Implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the areas: O. T. Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, TB Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Neurological & Neuro Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing & Candidates shall be medically fit.
