DTU JEE Main Cutoff 2024

JAC Delhi has released DTU cutoff JEE Mains for round five admission in BTech courses. For general category, DTU CSE cutoff is 13567 for Delhi region and 6406 for outside Delhi region.

DTU Cutoff 2024 (Expected)

DTU Cutoff JEE Main for BTech admission is released by Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Delhi. JAC releases separate cutoffs for Delhi and other states candidates. DTU cut off is released in the form of opening and closing ranks. After noticing the previous year cutoff trends, we have prepared an expected cutoff. DTU Cutoff for CSE for the year 2024 is expected to be 4876-4886 for other states (general category). On the other hand, DTU JAC cutoff for CSE (Delhi students) is expected to be 12948-12958 for general category. 

Based on the studying done on DTU cutoff JEE Main of previous years, it is expected that 2024 cutoff for engineering physics can range from 54957 - 54967 for home state (general category). Our analysis of past cutoffs for DTU also shows that the cutoff for Delhi students is usually lower as compared to DTU cutoff for outside students which is generally high.

DTU Cutoff - Trends

DTU BTech cutoff trends for the previous three years show that the cutoff has fallen for CSE from 8235 in 2021 to 10701 in 2023. However, there has been a slight increase in the DTU CSE cutoff for Delhi region from 10860 in 2022 to 10701 in 2023. A pattern can be seen where DTU JAC cutoff has been the lowest in 2022 for most of the courses and has witnessed a rise in 2023. DTU cutoff trends also show that in the case of the ECE programme, there has been an increase in the cutoff for the regions outside Delhi. The DTU cutoff went up from 8637 in 2021 to 8618 in 2022. It increased to 7804 in 2023.

DTU Cutoff Trend Highlights - JEE Main

The following highlights derived after analysing the DTU B.Tech cutoff for the previous three years will help students gain insight into the upcoming cutoff scenario of Delhi Technological University based on JEE Main 2024:

  • DTU cutoff in 2022 was the lowest for all the B.Tech specialisations when compared to 2023 and 2022. 
  • DTU Biotechnology cutoff 2023 was the highest 9 for the Delhi region and outside the Delhi region. It increased by 40,118 ranks from 1,06,317 in 2022 to 66,199 in 2023 for the Delhi region.
  • In the case of IT, DTU cutoff increased in 2023 as compared to 2022. For the Delhi region, there was a slight increase from 13936 in 2022 to 13931 in 2023. Whereas, the difference in cutoff was significant for outside Delhi region. It increased from 6,160 in 2022 to 5,307 in 2023.
  • The cutoff of DTU for EE for the outside Delhi region, there has been an upward trend in the cutoff from 12828 in 2021 to 11634 in 2022 to 9804 in 2023.

Dear Gaurrja, 

For Arts and Humanities students, the Delhi Technological University offers a BA (Hons.) in Economics programme at the university. This course is offered at the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME) in the East Delhi Campus. Admission to the BA (Hons.) in Economics is offered on the basis of scores in the best four subjects in the class 12 board examination. Note that, class 12 must have been completed from a recognised board of education only. Moreover, The application process for the session 2023 has been concluded and the new session has been commenced for this year.

If these both steps are done, the authorities will inform you regarding the commencement of the session, which is expected to begin anytime soon. Also, you have to fill out the hostel registration form separately. The DTU hostel registration has begun and you first have to check whether or not the first-year hostel registration for your course has started. You must fill out and submit the form as soon as possible as the hostel intake is limited. You have to enter your JAC registration number or JEE roll number to complete the admission process.
