DTU Delhi Admission 2024: Dates, Application Form, Process, Eligibility

DTU Admission 2024 is open now. Admission to Delhi Technological University is done based on merit and entrance exams. The university accepts various entrance exams for admission including JEE Main for BTech, UCEED for BDes, GATE for MTech, CAT/ MAT for MBA, CEED for MDes, etc. DTU admission process for BTech is conducted through JAC counselling. The university also conducts DTU LEET for admission to BTech lateral entry courses. Candidates can apply for DTU admission in online mode by visiting the official website or offline mode by visiting the admission office at the campus.

Delhi Technological University offers various scholarships to its students based on academic merit, financial need, and other criteria. Some of the DTU scholarships are merit scholarships, category specific scholarships, needs based scholarships, etc.  After completing the subsequent DTU admission process, final shortlisting candidates will be handed the ‘letter of enrollment’. 

At UG or Undergraduate level DTU offers BTech, BBA, BA, and BDes programmes. The university does not conduct any entrance exams on its own for regular UG courses. However, the university conducts DTU LEET for lateral entry admission to BTech course. DTU admission criteria are based on central level entrance exams. The exams accepted for admission are JEE Main for BTech, UCEED for BDes, GATE for MTech, CAT/ MAT for MBA, CEED for MDes, etc. 

The candidates are selected finally after the result of respective exams and the seats are allocated through respective exams counselling process. DTU admission through JEE Mains is done for BTech and DTU admission through CUET is done for UG courses.

At PhD level, DTU offers 16 course: PhD in english, PhD in applied science, etc. Candidates who have completed PG in the relevant degree with a minimum of 55% are eligible for PhD admission.

DTU application form can be submitted online through their official portal or offline by visiting the campus. Applicants need to fill out the application form and pay the non-refundable application fee to complete the process. 

The following is the step by step application process for DTU admission:

• Visit the official DTU official website at dtu.ac.in.
• Register using your email address or phone number.
• Complete the DTU application form with details such as your personal details, academic qualifications, entrance exam scores, program preferences, and other relevant information.
• Upload required documents like scanned copies of mark sheets, certificates, and photographs, as specified.
• Pay the DTU admission fee. The application fee is Rs 1500 for all categories.
• Save and keep the form for future reference.
