Type of Scholarship | DOMICILE SCHOLARSHIPS : DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP POLICY - A scholarship of up to 10% on first-year academic fees will be awarded to students from any state in India. MERITORIOUS SCHOLARSHIPS : UTTARAKHAND STATE DOMICILE POLICY - Students with a permanent address (DOMICILE) in Uttarakhand or those who have completed their 10th or 12th education in Uttarakhand are eligible for a scholarship of up to 25% per year on tuition fees. CATEGORY SCHOLARSHIPS : OTHER HILLY STATE DOMICILE POLICY - A scholarship of up to 10% per year on academic fees is offered to support meritorious and talented students from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and District Darjeeling, Kalimpong (West Bengal). |
Special students belonging to the State of Jammu & Kashmir, pursuing general degree courses, medical courses, engineering courses, etc. outside the State of J&K, may apply for scholarship under this scheme. Details of the scheme are given in the guidelines.
AICTE has released the PG scholarship through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) for the students whose data has been verified by the institute and further approved the attendance for respective months.
All the students who are eligible for PG scholarships (GATE / GPAT) but have not yet received the scholarship so far are requested to contact the institute for completion of verification and attendance approval on the portal.
It is informed that PG scholarships will be disbursed only through DBT, Scholarship disbursement from July 2013 onwards through manual/hard copy proposals will not be processed under any circumstances.
