Doon University has offered about 8-10 scholarships of Rs 3000 per month out of the endowment provided by Shri Brijnandan Dangwal, Dehradun, for meritorious students of this institute on means cum merit basis subject to performance appraisal on a year-to-year basis as per the approved guidelines.

E-Scholarship of Social Welfare Department

The Social Welfare Department of the Uttarakhand Government accepts applications for the award of e-scholarship each year for the SC/ST/OBC candidates of Uttarakhand pursuing higher studies in universities/ colleges. Being a management student of this university, I would say a big NO if you really wanted to do MBA than just go for LPU it is best university for management and yes for other subjects also. Industrial exposure, Internships are there and moreover best placements opportunities for management students are there in the university. According to LPU officials they usually say that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. 500+ companies visit to the campus and university provide them the best of the candidates who are already industry ready. People who think that they can study from where ever and it will be best for them, then I am sorry to say this, that if u what to study for just a piece of a paper then please go ahead these universities/collages are no harm.

Admission to Doon University is done on the basis of the eligibility criteria stated by the university for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The university releases a merit list based on which admission is granted. The selected candidates then have to complete the admission formalities as prescribed by Doon University. The admission deadlines are provided in the prospectus, which you have to follow, if you fail to complete the admission requirements by the deadlines, you will automatically be denied admission. The Doon University merit list for various academic programmes will be published on the university's website and notice boards. You will be invited to enrol and thereafter be notified. The passing percentage is 60%. For reserved category candidates the percentage is 45-50%.
