Overall: there's a 100% placement record here and all different kinds of brands come for scouting but the placement is mostly centralised meaning students have to go to noida to get placed and fdp(footwear designing) students get better placements than the fashion designing ones the hostel is good enough. the mess is not bad I'd give it 5/10. but there's no basic snacks/amenities in the cantren area. sports area is fine. there's no medical facilities in campus. mess food is bad but manageable. we dont have seperate canteens for north indian and south indian but it's manageable The faculties are not that experienced. they'd teach you basics but designing is mostly experimenting and self learning you go to a lot of internships per semester and learn by yourself. This college is definitely overpriced for the amenities they provide. for this tuition/college fee I'd expect more from the college side The FDDI AIST exam is the entrance exam to get inside the college it's relatively easy to get in since we don't have much people in the college, they just take everyone in. The details will probably be available in the FDDI website. Events are nice but there are hardly 500 people in this college so having fun with a lot of people is rare. There's always a sports and cultural day held for each semester. some are exciting while the others are just okayish. students have to fund most of the events. the college will provide only a part of it. there's a lot of scholarships and government programs since it's a government college. people come through different organization and programs. the internships you'd have to search yourself but they provide assistance as well. it differs every years but mine (21-25) sums up to 7 for the tuition fee. but don't expect getting a fashion designer role because it's rare you'd probably end up doing fashion merchandising (similar to it) The placement is centralized meaning you have to go to Noida (the headquarters) to get placed. placements for the fdp course is good and the packages also vary from 6-8 (for fdp) and 4-6 for fd department, there's a 100% placement record. The course curriculum is fine. the syllabus is also fine. just that the faculties are sometimes a bit inexperienced to teach the particular topic. they are mostly practical exams and we have some 2-4 theory exams mostly. They provide ppts and the subject is self explanatory so you can manage theory subjects.
Faculty: The faculties are not that experienced. they'd teach you basics but designing is mostly experimenting and self learning you go to a lot of internships per semester and learn by yourself. This college is definitely overpriced for the amenities they provide. for this tuition/college fee I'd expect more from the college side
