XAT 2026 registration has begun today, July 10, 2025. The last date to fill out the application form online is December 5, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 4, 2026. The exam pattern and syllabus remain unchanged from last year. Both new applicants and previously registered users can log in to complete the application process.

Any student who has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised University (University of Odisha recognised or UGC recognised University) is eligible for admission into the MCA programme offered at GIFT Bhubaneswar.
Any B.Tech or B.E degree holder who has completed his/her studies from a recognized University is eligible to apply for M.Tech admissions offered at Gandhi Institute for Technology Bhubaneswar. It is imperative that the B.E/B. Tech degree holders should have obtained their degrees from a University either recognised by the University of Odisha, University Grants Commission (UGC) or approved by AICTE.
For admission into the diploma programmes offered at GIFT Bhubaneswar, the candidates have to be 10+2 qualified from a recognised Board in Science stream.
Selection into the GIFT Bhubaneswar diploma programmes is done on the basis of marks obtained by the applicants in their respective qualifying examinations. Allocation of seats is done via an e-counselling process which is conducted by the state government of Odisha.
