The college was founded in 2000 with the goal of building an ideal learner-centric environment in which young people would be mentally, physically, and psychologically prepared for the requirements of modern Indian industry. George Group of Colleges, Kolkata are affiliated with MAKAUT(Maulana AbulKalam Azad University of Technology), University of Calcutta, University of Burdwan, WBUTTEPA( West Bengal University of Teachers Training Education Planning & Administration) and WBBPE (West Bengal Board of Primary Education).
