GNIOT Institute of Management Studies Admission 2024

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies offers courses in PGDM in multiple specialisations. It has recently launched the PGDM 4.0 version which focuses more on Industry 4.0, AI, Data Analytics, and, Block Chain. The programme is a 2-year full-time programme that follows the semester system. Class 10 and Class 12

The aggregate of all subjects' marks will be used for calculating the final percentages. Even if the board does not take all subjects into consideration for the final percentage. GNIOT will take the aggregate of all subjects.

If a university or board awards the scores in grade points, then the same must be converted into percentages.

GraduationA student who has cleared bachelor degree from any recognised Indian university with a minimum of 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category.
Reserved category students

The reserved category students must present their caste certificates and non-creamy layer certificates at the time of admission.

If the student fails to do so, then he or she will be counted under the general category with 50% marks required in the bachelors.

Students appearing/result awaited

Students who are appearing for their final examinations or are waiting for their results can also apply for the GNIOT admission.

However, they need to submit their final graduation mark sheet at the time of admission else their admission will be cancelled.

Competitive exam

A student who has appeared for or cleared any of the exams from CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT or GAT.

They must present their scorecard of the exam.

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies Admission Procedure 2024

The GNIOT Institute of Management Studies admission process is held in 6 stages. Students must have a consistent and strong academic record for admission to the institute. The performance in class 10, class 12, and every year of graduation is considered for admissions. Step 1: Application FormThe first step of the admission process at GIMS is to fill out the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies admission form. The form can be filled out in online as well as offline mode. The GNIOT fee structure for the application form is Rs 12,00 for all category candidates. This application form fee can be paid via credit card/debit card/net banking.
Step 2: Screening of Application Form

In the next step of the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies admission process, the application of students is scrutinised based on various parameters. The parameters are as follows:

Consistency of academic record.

Versatility and achievements.

Scores of CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT

Relevance of work experience if any

Step 3: GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT)The candidates who qualify for the second stage of the GIMS admission procedure will be called for the GAT test. This test is conducted by the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies itself and is for a duration of 45 minutes. The test covers areas like mathematics, critical reasoning, language skills, and, decision-making skills.
Step 4: Group DiscussionStudents who have qualified the GAT or the CMAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT exams will be invited for virtual or face-to-face group discussions. The panellist will give a topic for discussion. An Essay Writing test will be conducted in case Group Discussion is not possible.
Step 5: Personal Interview/ Essay/ PresentationThe selected students from the previous round will have to give a personal interview either face-to-face or through skype. Along with this, he or she will also have to give a presentation on a given topic.
Step 6: Final SelectionThe final selection will be made based on the combined scores of the previous stages and the weightage of each parameter will be different as mentioned in the next section.
