• Candidates with a valid CAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT score can participate in the Goa Institute of Management selection process.
• Candidates are called for the Achievers Round and they need to undergo individual assessment in group activity and face-to-face evaluation. The final selection is based on objective assessment (40% weightage), the candidate's past academic performance (15% weightage), work experience (10% weightage), performance in face-to-face evaluation (30% weightage), and Composite Diversity Index (5% weightage). On the day of the interview, the institute extends an admission offer to successful candidates.
• Remaining candidates appear in the Regular Round of the GIM Goa PGDM selection process. The final selection for the Regular Round of PGDM is made based on the competitive exam (CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT) (40% weightage), past academic performance (15% weightage), work experience (10% weightage), performance in the face-to-face evaluation (30% weightage), and Composite Diversity Index (5% weightage).

• PGDM BDA aspirants at GIM Goa must have a valid CAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT score to participate in the Goa Institute of Management admission process for PGDM BDA. However, they also need to appear for the GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) conducted by the institute.
• Selected candidates are selected for the Achievers Round. The final selection for this round is based on the competitive exam (CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT and GAAT) (45% weightage), past academic performance (15% weightage), work experience (10% weightage), and performance in face-to-face evaluation (30% weightage). Selected candidates are offered admission to the institute on the day of the interview.
• Rest of the candidates are invited for the Regular Round. Candidates are selected for the final GIM Goa admission based on the competitive exam (CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT and GAAT) (45% weightage), past academic performance (15% weightage), work experience (10% weightage), and performance in face-to-face evaluation (30% weightage).

• PGDM GOAL is a two-year part-time programme offered via online study mode. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks to apply to this Goa Institute of Management course. 
• Candidates are invited to the face-to-face evaluation (GD/PI) round. The final selection is based on a candidate's past academic performance (30% weightage), work experience (30% weightage), performance in the GD/PI round (30% weightage), and Composite Diversity Index (10% weightage).

• Candidates with a masters degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks are eligible for the  Goa Institute of Management FPM selection process. They need to upload SoP and LoR as part of the selection requirements.
• Candidates are required to participate in an interview conducted by the institute. The institute offers final admission to successful candidates based on past academic performance, SoP, research proposal, work experience, and personal interview.
