Government Polytechnic (GP), Lucknow Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

The students from all courses at Government Polytechnic Lucknow can apply for the various scholarships and concessions offered by the state. The Uttar Pradesh government has put in place various schemes and scholarships for students who belong to financially weaker sections of society. Apart from this, students who perform exceptionally well in their studies are also rewarded with concessions and prizes. Students will have to fill out the Government Polytechnic Lucknow Scholarship form under the guidance of their respective department heads. However, to apply for the UP government scholarship schemes, they have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria for Uttar Pradesh Government Scholarship

The UP government has launched the UP Scholarship Yojana 2022, also known as the UP Scholarship 2021-22. It is available for the students of Class 9 to Class 12, undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, and diploma courses. The following is the eligibility criteria to apply for the scheme:

• Students must have a Domicile in Uttar Pradesh.
• They must be enrolled in any recognised university or institute. 
• The pre-matric and post-matric certificates must be available.
• They must have the Dashmottar proof. This is a proof that the candidate has been enrolled in any UG, PG, Diploma, or Certificate course.
• Candidates applying for this Government Polytechnic Lucknow scholarship must also have proof of their marks in the last qualifying examination.
• The fee receipt number of their current course.
• Bank passbook is a must.
• The income certificate of the earning member of the candidate’s family.
• Students will have to present the caste certificate if applicable.
• Apart from this, they will also need their enrollment number, Aadhar card number, and a scanned passport-size photograph.

The steps to apply for the UP government scholarship are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, Lucknow. The website is www.scholarship.up.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the Student section and then on the Registration link.

Step 3: There you will see multiple options for scholarships like the pre-matric, post-matric, undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma scholarships. Click on the one that is applicable to you.

Step 4: A registration form will open.

Step 5: Fill out the form with all necessary information like your personal details, academic details, passing year, email address, etc. Once you fill out the form, your UP scholarship login credentials will be created. 

Step 6: Once you fill out the form, your UP scholarship login credentials will be created. 

Step 7: Use these credentials to log in again using your registration number and password. 

Step 8: Another form page will open. Fill in all the details as asked. 

Step 9: Click on “Submit” and take a printout of the form for future reference.
