Academic Libraries is an important as other categories of libraries and its plays vital role in educational system. There are two important factors in educational system viz.-Teacher and Student. The teacher guides students on specific subject, where the library is recognized as a major teaching instrument to support classroom teaching, practical work and other formal programs of the polytechnic. To stimulate the intellectual curiosity and independent study of the student’s library is a moral center. The function of a library service is the acquisition, retrieval and dissemination of latest information and knowledge stored in various formats in relevance with the science, engineering and technology for the students, faculty and supporting staff members of the polytechnic. The institute has a well-stocked, library with a collection of more than 16534 text as well as reference books written by well known Indian and Foreign authors on Engineering, Technology and others subjects. There are various national & international journals subscribed regularly in order to keep pace with information on the latest development in the word. These include subject (i.e. journals on civil, chemical, computer, electronics and mechanical etc.) and other general periodicals like Electronics for you, PC Quest, Science today etc.
