Gulshan Kumar Film and Television Institute of India (GKFTII) provides diploma, certificate, UG and PG programs to train and produce expert filmmakers, journalists & media professionals, Fashion Designers, Artists and qualified technicians. Candidates may enrol in any of the programs after applying for it online. The eligibility criteria for each of the program is the same. Selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of an aptitude test which will be followed by a personal interview. The decision of the Admissions Committee will be sent to the applicant in writing(through Selection Letter) within 2 days which will decide whether the candidate is going to be admitted for the selected program or not.

Candidates who are interested in the program need to pay an amount of INR 20,000/- as registration fee (for Degree/Diploma courses through demand draft favouring “T-Series Stageworks Pvt. Ltd.” payable at Noida). The registration fee will be adjusted towards the course fee after the interview and entrance test.
While filling the application form, candidates need to attach or upload the following documents:
2 passport size photographs
Photocopy of the certificates of educational qualifications (secondary school examination/senior secondary school examination certificates for admission in Diploma/undergraduate courses and graduate degree of a recognized university certificate for admission in postgraduate courses)

Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) or the Bachelor of Design (BDes) course are required to have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board. The BJMC and BDes course also include a Graduate Diploma in Media and Entertainment and a Diploma in Fashion Design respectively.

For candidates to be held eligible for the BSc/PG Diplomma programme in Fashion Design + Diploma in Fashion Design, they should fulfil the following eligibility criteria prescribed by the institute:
Must have qualified a PG Diploma.
Candidates who have completed any UG programme will also be allowed to apply.
In addition, candidates who are just 10/10+2 pass may also apply for the course.
Those who are looking forward to taking admission in the PG programme of Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC) must have qualified a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The course also includes a PG Diploma in TV journalism.
Candidates applying for the Master of Science (M.Sc) course in Fashion Design+ Diploma in Fashion Design must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university/institute.
There are several rounds in which GKFTII, Noida assesses an applicant if he/she is fit for the courses or not. The selection process shall include the following rounds:
An online aptitude test conducted by the institute.
Personal interview over the phone will be conducted 2 hours after the online aptitude test.
Another round of personal interview will be held by the Dean or his nominee after the written test.
