Overall: UIT is only Engineering college of HIMACHAL PRADESH UNIVERSITY which is one of the top ranked universities of INDIA . UIT is one of the top engineering colleges all around Himachal pradesh

Placement: Placement rate of college is very good . Each year several companies approach college for hiring students. Last year average salary package from the college was about 6LPA

Infrastructure: UIT is located at summerhill, shimla in dense forests. It is a very peaceful place which is very helpful for students. College is separated from main University campus.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very well qualified. Always looking forward to help students in qny possible way. Interaction between students and faculty members is very good regarding any queries or projects by students or faculty

Hostel: There's no hostel available for college students. Students depend upon PG's or Rented rooms around college campus. Further students as well as locality is very helpful to everyone.

Overall: The strong points of this college are highlighted definitely by its general review. Typically, students think that their study days were fulfilling and nonpareil.

Placement: My settings for work-related practices at college are fine. Placement cell will put so much effort to invite the companies to recruit and students may be required to take part in more networking and skill-building activities to have a good career growth.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure: The university has the adequate configuration with the modern infra structure as there is classroom, labs and libraries are available. Nevertheless, for the other areas, they can be in dire need of refinishing or update.

Faculty: Among several aspects of college, faculty is one of the most significant ones. As far as practicable, most teachers are highly learned and devoted, but there are also some that lack passions or have little time to interact with the students outside class.

Hostel: The hostel accommodation of a campus helps in catering to the students who elect to live on campus. The quality of shelter in a hostel varies, some being luxurious and others low cost and in need of improvements in facilities and cleanliness.

Overall: My overall experience in this college is really amazing I got I lot of things here true friends supportive faculties and a lot of knowledge related to my course

Placement: A good college Placement is the thing which everyone wants from their college and I can confidently say that this college will gona give me that opportunity for sure because the top most companies come here to take students and also college provides us full knowledge about interview and faculties always be ready for any kind of help

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is really good I really like it because when I'm in my school everyone is sharing about their college life college infrastructure and that time I'm imagining which type of infrastructure this college infrastructure is same

Faculty: Faculties of this college are the best as per my knowledge or experience because they are very supportive and coordinative and nature of them really good our bounding with faculties is really great

Hostel: Hostel of this college is just great I really like to leave here because I didn't feel like I am not in my own home it's feels like my own home environment and my room mates are too good and the food is so tasty

Overall: Our college is the second most honoured college in Himachal pradesh, the teaching staff is good, everything is clean, and most importantly, the location. Wow like in the deep woods of Himachal pradesh ,Feels like heaven .

Placement: In recent years, many nig companies have visited the campus like Amazon, paytm, google. And have offered high packages to students. Heiest being around 25 lacks per anum. And average package here is around 7 lacks per anum. Although our HOD,s are vonstanly working to increase the placements, packages and the number of companies that visit us. We have a dedicated placement cell in our college too.

Infrastructure: The building that is allotted to us is small and lacks any play areas but that is understandable like we have other nice areas to play nearby and there are many nice locations sucha as potters hill, sniper tower, summer hill railway station. So I feel like the governing authority dont find it necessary to build some new infrastructure. Beside these our classroims are excellent, we have smart boards and projectors in every room. Labs have high tech devices and advance tools for extra ease. Benches that we sit on are of good quality .

Faculty: Our teachers are masters at their subject, they teach well , if a student is into studies, teachers are willing to help him/her at any given time possible. Teaching techniques the use are quite marvelous. Overall from teaching prospective it's good. Although many students face problems with office staff, they don't cooperate much with us. Helping staff, peons etc are friendly and keep everything nice and tidy .

Hostel: There is no hostel for students of our college,authorities are working on collecting funds to make it but till now there is no hostel. But there are good rooms available nearby to rent or you can live as paying guest . I would suggest to live in room.
