Himachal Pradesh University Admission 2025 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Himachal Pradesh University Admission 2023, the HPCET 2023 dates have been released for the B.Tech, B.Pharm, MCA, and MBA programmes. The exam will take place on May 14, 2023. The registration period will finish in March 2023. The PhD admission 2024, last date for application was February 7, 2023. Established in 1970, the university has been accredited by NAAC with A Grade and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

The HPU admissions are done on the basis of the candidate's academic merit from the most recent qualifying examination. Also for some courses, valid entrance exam results are considered. The university conducts its own entrance exam, and other than that it also accepts national-level exams such as JEE Main, CAT, GATE, etc. To be eligible to apply to the BDS, MBBS, BHM, BBA, and BCA programmes, candidates must have finished their 10+2 from a recognised board and achieved a minimum score of 50% on the final exam. Students who want to pursue a degree in BDS or MBBS must have completed their 10+2 in the science stream, with Biology as a main subject. Here the B.Tech course is offered in both regular and lateral entry formats. The HPU admission criteria for B.Tech Lateral Entry is to have a 10+2 with a 50% passing mark in diploma or B.Sc with a 60% passing grade. Admission is determined through the HPU Shimla entrance exam.

The application form, which will be made accessible on the college website throughout the application season, can be used by students to apply to any of the courses offered by the university. 

• Go to the university's website by clicking. 
• In order to apply for a course, click on it. 
• Select "I agree to the terms and conditions stated above" from the menu. 
• On the screen, the appropriate application form for the course will appear. 
• Fill out the necessary details after choosing the course name. 
• When you have completed the form to the fullest extent possible and clicked "Save," you will be given a special Registration number and a password. 
• Please take a note of the registration number and its password. 
• Put your registration number and password in the login box.
• Complete the remaining fields on the HPU application form with the specifics of your credentials. 
• Please upload all necessary documents. 
• Click "Continue and Save Button" once all the papers have been uploaded. 
• Following completion of the application form, the application cost may be paid online. 
• Click "make payment" for paying the application fee. 
• Make the payment using the Cooperative Bank or HDFC. 
• "Continue for payment" should be clicked. 
• Make the payment by selecting one of the three available methods: debit card, credit card, or net banking. 
• Once the payment has been received successfully, select "submit application form". 
• The student must present all academic records and a printout of the completed application form in person when receiving counselling.

Required Documents for HPU admission : 

• A scanned copy of the applicant's passport-size photo in the JPEG or GIF format, with a maximum file size of 100KB. 
• Applicants must submit a scanned copy of their signature (maximum size 100 KB, JPEG/JPG format, black pen) 
• Applicants' parents' signatures should be scanned and submitted as a JPEG or PNG file with a maximum size of 100 KB.
