Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble, ITC, Hindustan Unilever, Samsung, Apple, Microsoft, and Vedanta are some of the top recruiters that visit the IIM Calcutta campus every year. The mission of IIM Kolkata Placement is to develop future leaders who will be capable of managing the ever-transforming competitive environment of management.

IIM Calcutta Final Placement Report For PGDBA 2020-2022

The sixth batch of IIM Calcutta PGDBA programme successfully completed its placement process with various organisations across industries participating with zeal for handpicking candidates for both data-driven and business-driven roles from a batch of 62 students in which two opted out to commence their own career aspirations. IIMC PGDBA Final Placement witnessed substantial growth, while average remuneration was recorded at Rs 26.35 LPA, with a 12.75% growth. The highest offer received was with the remuneration of Rs 42.50 LPA. The median CTC growth observed was 14% with a reach of Rs 28 LPA.

The fifteenth (15th) batch of the IIM Calcutta MBAEx programme had a successful placement season with the following figures –

  • Average Salary: Rs 36.79 Lakhs per annum (+27.96% YoY)
  • Median Salary: Rs 30.41 Lakhs per annum (+19.25% YoY)
  • Highest Salary: Rs 1.37 Crore per annum (+57.25% YoY)
  • Average salary increase: 52.5%

75 out of 79 students in the batch took part in the IIM Calcutta placement process, and they received a total of 87 job offers (2 students opted-out and 2 were on sabbatical). IIM Calcutta Placements 2019

IIM Calcutta has completed the placement process for the PGP batch 2017-19. The 2019 graduating batch of IIM Calcutta recorded 100% placements, as all the 441 students who took part in placements bagged job offers from top companies. IIM Calcutta has achieved a milestone by completing the placement process for the 2019 PGP graduating batch in just one day.

A total number of 123 companies from diverse sectors participated in the placement process of IIM Calcutta and made 501 job offers. The number of job offers made by these companies is higher than the number of students participating in placements.

The average salary offered by these companies was Rs. 24.96 lakh per annum, while the median salary offered was Rs. 23.5 lakh per annum.

Thus LPU cares what to teach according to the demand of industry, so that all the students can be able to cop up the outer word after qualifying from LPU. Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurship does mot means opens a shop and making money from money. In LPU, students come up with the unique idea of business and in fact LPU provides them seed money also for their start-up. Since the inception of Entrepreneurship ventures, LPU has witnessed more than 300 start-ups.
