Director of IIM Rohtak informed that Institute of Management Rohtak Placements recorded 16% rise in the highest salary offered. Students were offered some niche roles in the Finance sector with high paying salaries.

From the Institute of Management Rohtak Placements it can be concluded that maximum number of students were recruited by Sales and Marketing firms followed by the finance sector. Recruitment in the general management sector also witnessed a sharp rise. Many of the first time recruiters hired in Sales and Marketing domain.

Significantly, the highest salary shot up nearly 42% from Rs 18.3 lakh last year to Rs 25.9 LPA. It was revealed that the highest salary is being offered by Yes Bank. A total of 57 companies from different segments visited the campus to select candidates from a batch of 150 students.

Additionally, there was a significant rise in the number of pre-placement offers or PPOs this year as compared to the previous year. Last year, there were 6 PPOs as against 25 PPOs that came in this year.
