Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune BS+MS : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: Learning experience is amazing by classrooms with digital screens and air conditioned. The course is primarily aimed at research in the pure sciences. Faculty to student ratio is healthy and the faculty is highly qualified.

Placement: IISERs are the best institutes in India for research in basic sciences. However more than 60% of the students manage to secure seats in top universities across the globe like Stanford, Colombia University, Caltech, etc.

Infrastructure: Being one of the best institutes in India, all the facilities including accommodation and classroom environment is top notch. Library is quite good with lot of stuff.

Faculty: The faculty members are very nice. And their natures are very nice. It is also good that they teach very well. Interships are provided in many types of courses. A professor does not fail by one mark in college

Hostel: The hostels are fairly comfortable, with well-furnished rooms and common washrooms. There is 24-hour Wi-Fi and electricity ment is top notch. They provides you the mess food and the taste too good.

Placement: Almost 98-95% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting company is Lenskart. Around 95-99% of students got internships at Lenskart, Era Hospital, and other hospitals.

Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is decent. Medical facilities are available 24X7. Sports are conducted in this college.

Faculty: Faculties are well skilled and talented.All professors help students in their personal and professional life. all the fauclties have many years experienced.

Hostel: hostel facility is very goon in College. There are separate hostel for both boys and girls .rooms are also very good ..hostels are well maintained.....

Overall: While studying BS MS at IISER Pune I can say for sure that those were the best days of my life. The teachers not only taught us the syllabus but also provided us with lifelong lessons. The course fee was also nominal and if I remember correctly then it was Rs 55,000 per year. I also got placed with a package of Rs 8.11 LPA

Placement: IISER Pune placements are conducted every year for final semester students. I also registered for placements in my final year and got placed in Chegg India with a package of Rs 8.11 LPA. I am satisfied with my package as the average package in 2023 stood at Rs 8.30 LPA.

Infrastructure: I am proud to say that we had access to one of the best IT infrastructures at IISER Pune. Our whole campus was covered with dual-band high-speed Wifi. All the classrooms were connected to 1 GBPS internet and had audio-video devices. We also had access to a IT lab for classes.

Faculty: Teachers for BS MS course at IISER Pune were highly qualified but were very strict. However, their teaching methodology was very effective and helped us solve problems we thought were impossible before. My favourite teacher was Arnab Mukherjee sir.

Hostel: IISER Pune hostel fees is the same for men and women but the hostel buildings are separate. The hostel fees was Rs 71,000 per year. The fee included mess charges and other miscellaneous expenses. The hostels had one guard and one warden.

Overall: You get to have some awesome seminars exclusive to only IISER, you get to have IISM that is Inter IISER sports meet which provides a great platform to the emerging players out of a scientific mind.

Placement: See it is not an Engineering college and if you are enquiring about placements then you are a non passionate student who just is going for the sake of Indian Institute tag.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure that they provide here is none less than that you will get in any foreign university. You get high speed internet, well paved roads, enormous building al are a pleasure.

Faculty: Sometimes you will get all the concepts over your head as a surpassing missile launcher. But at the same time you will have many things that will keep you engaged.

Hostel: That's what you want, a fabulous hostel facility, a great hostel life , a bunch of great friends, never ending bakchodi etc. All you can have to enjoy the life that you aren't going to have further.
