IIT Bhilai has started the admission process for engineering courses for the academic year 2024-25. JEE Main session 2 2024 application begins on March 02, 2204. Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai or IIT Bhilai was founded in 2016 in Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Education (MoE). IIT Bhilai Eligibility Criteria 2022
IIT Bhilai B.Tech eligibility criteria include Class 12 with minimum aggregate marks of 75% and physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 conducted by respective boards are eligible to apply. The entrance exam for admission into the IIT Bhilai B.Tech courses is JEE Advanced, followed by JoSAA counselling. The JEE Advanced result 2022 has been announced by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The IIT Bhilai JEE Advanced 2022 cutoff will be released soon on the IIT Bhilai official website.
For IIT Bhilai M.Tech admissions, a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or master's degree in science or equivalent degree with first-class or minimum of 60% aggregate marks (with 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST). The exam conducted for admission into the course is GATE.
For admission to IIT Bhilai M.Tech courses, a bachelor's degree in science with minimum aggregate marks of 55%(with 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PWD). The entrance exam for IIT Bhilai M.Sc admission is IIT JAM.
For a PhD, a master’s degree in science or engineering or technology or equivalent degree with first-class or 60% aggregate marks(with 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST). The exams required for IIT Bhilai PhD admission are GATE, UGC NET, CSIR NET, or DST INSPIRE FELLOWSHIP.

IIT Bhilai campus offers a wide range of course-related amenities. The IIT Bhilai campus is presently operating from its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh. IIT Bhilai Scholarships
The institute offers IIT Bhilai scholarships to SC/ST students. The students whose parental income is less than Rs 4.5 Lakhs per annum are eligible for the scholarship. They will be provided free mess and boarding and pocket money of Rs 250 per month.
10% of students are provided with a grant of free studentship whose parental income is not more than Rs 5 Lakhs for general category students and Rs 6 Lakhs for OBC. The economically backward students( family income is between Rs 1 Lakhs per annum to Rs 5 Lakhs per annum) will be eligible for 1/3 rd reimbursement of the tuition fee per semester under the schemes of IIT Bhilai scholarships.
