Hello,

MSc is a 2 year PG programme offered by some top IITs like IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati,and IIT Delhi. To secure admission at any of these reputed institutes, you must qualify IIT JAM. MSc Computer Science has been divided into 4 semesters and focuses on an in-depth study of various facets of IT systems, computer architecture, etc.

Dear Student,

No, it is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify GATE exam and acquire the minimum GATE Cutoff for admission to IIT Guwahati in M.Tech Course. The minimum eligibility for the course is to pass a B.Tech degree from a recognized institute with a minimum of 60% (55% for reserved categories) of marks. However, the candidates who have passed B.Tech degree from IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or above are eligible for direct admission without entrance test.
