IIT Guwahati highest package (domestic) in 2023 was Rs 1.20 crore per annum, while the average package stood at Rs 25.75 LPA for the UG course. No, it is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify GATE exam and acquire the minimum GATE Cutoff for admission to IIT Guwahati in M.Tech Course. The minimum eligibility for the course is to pass a B.Tech degree from a recognized institute with a minimum of 60% (55% for reserved categories) of marks. However, the candidates who have passed B.Tech degree from IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or above are eligible for direct admission without entrance test.
