To be eligible for admission to IIT Madras B.Tech programme, candidates must have passed Class 12 in Science stream (PCM) with a minimum of 60% marks, and must have a valid rank in JEE Advanced. The selection process is conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

  • Birth certificate or any other proof of age
  • Character certificate from the last attended institution
  • Migration certificate from the last attended institution

Overall: Iit madras is constructed in a reserved forest which consists all domestic animals like cats and the speciality of iit madras is in the campus the black bucks are present..

Placement: Placements are done very well in iitm as nearly 450 companies come for only electrical engineering so you can imagine how much craze is there for iitm college

Infrastructure: The alumni are the persons who completed their degree and went for good placements and became a good engineers and constructed the iitm very well with the hel of central government

Hostel: The mandakini hostel is a well built hostel in an eco friendly manner and the mandakini hostel looks like a multistorey building.also vending machines are also present in hostel..
