IITM Murthal Admission 2024

IITM Murthal admission 2024-25 has started. Candidates seeking admission in courses offered by IITM Sonepat shall apply at the earliest to avoid late fees. There are many courses offered by the institute in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, technology, and management. Candidates are suggested to go through the eligibility criteria for their desired courses and apply for them.

For the selection process, the admission authorities accept national-level entrance scores and in some courses, admissions are offered on a merit basis. Hence, candidates shall check in advance whether or not the admissions to their desired courses is through an entrance examination. Students can also apply for IITM Group of Institutions admission through offline mode. In such a case, students have to visit the campus, get the information cum application brochure and submit the hard copy of the form at the campus of IITM Sonepat.

IITM Murthal Admission Criteria

Course and BranchEligibility Criteria
M. Tech (Master of Technology)B.Tech in the appropriate engineering field from a recognised university with a minimum overall score of 50% (47.5% for SC/DSC/PH candidates).
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)PCM is a required subject in the 10+2 test for admission. obtained a minimum of 45% overall (or 40% for those who fall within an approved reserved category).
B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

Passed a minimum lateral entry diploma exam in any discipline of engineering and technology with a minimum overall score of 45% (40% in the case of candidates from a qualifying reserved category). Alternately, 

 Students can also have earned a B.Sc. degree from a university that the UGC recognises, have at least 45% overall (or 40% if you are a candidate from a qualifying reserved category), and have completed the 10+2 exam with mathematics.

Diploma in Engineering-PolytechnicPassed the 10th grade or SSC test from any recognised educational board.
BBA (Bachelor of Business AdministrationPassed the 10+2 exam in any stream with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% (47.50% for qualified SC/DSC/PH candidates).
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)Attained a 10+2 degree in any field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% (47.50% for qualifying SC/DSC/PH applicants) and an emphasis in mathematics at the matriculation (10th) level. In class 12, however, maths is not required.
B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)Passed 10+2 with PCB or PCM. Pass in English as one of the subjects is also compulsory.
D. Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)Passed 10+2 with PCB or PCM from a  recognized board.
B.A (Bachelor of Arts)Passed 10 + 2 in any stream with a minimum of 33 per cent marks in aggregate.
B.Sc. Passed the 10+2 exam with a PCB/PCM average of at least 45% (the minimum pass score is only applicable to SC/ST applicants from Haryana).
B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)Passed 10+2 with Commerce and at least 40% marks in aggregate shall be scored.
