Admission to the Illambazar Nursing Institute courses depends on the college council and the WBNC (West Bengal Nursing Council). The college council will choose the eligible candidate for admission and the WBNC may conduct counselling princess or conduct a personal interview round to select students for Illambazar Nursing Institute admission. For admission to the Illambazar Nursing Institute GNM course, candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised college or board. Moreover, they must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in English and their class 12 must have been cleared in the stream of science or arts.
