Indian Maritime University Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc. (Applied Nautical Science) Eligibility Criteria

To pursue a Diploma degree at Indian Maritime University (IMU) Chennai, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. Firstly, applicants should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Additionally, they must have obtained at least 50% marks in English in either class 10th or 12th. As for age limit, candidates should be below 25 years (30 years for SC/ST) as on August 1st of the admission year. Furthermore, it is mandatory for aspirants to qualify in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by IMU to secure admission into the Diploma program.

Placement: The college carries more placements in their own hospitals and also provides many more placements. The average package is about 3 lakhs per annum and 7-8 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent facilities like Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, modern classrooms, and a vast library. Medical facilities is also here, Campus is green and safe for all the students.

Faculty: Teachers at our college were of average quality. They were qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality offered by teachers at our college was average.

Hostel: The hostel are very good provide excellent facility with ac seprate bathroom etc. the food qualities are good the registration process for hostel are smooth.

Placement: If you pursuing diploma in nautical science with sponsorship then you don't have to worry about the placement. But if you pursuing bsc then it has almost 80%.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of imu chennai was very good. Lots of building and campus was really very good. We play in evening like basketball and many others game.

Faculty: Faculty was also very good. Very good captains taught us. They clear our doubts and explain in very simple way so that we can understand the topic....

Hostel: Hostel of imu chennai was very good. We stay with our class mates. We enjoy very much. At evening we go to the tarese we seen many beautiful seens from there.
