The eligibility criteria for pursuing an M.Tech. (Master of Technology) degree at Indian Maritime University (IMU) require candidates to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 6.5 out of 10. However, a relaxation of 5% is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. It is also important for candidates to have a valid GATE score, as it is a mandatory requirement for admission. Admissions to the M.Tech. program at IMU are highly competitive, and candidates are selected based on their GATE score, followed by counseling and personal interview rounds.
