Overall: I am 100% satisfied with the IIU as the course fees was affordable and the teachers were also excellent. The course fees for MBA was around Rs 1,10,000 per year. The teachers were highly qualified and some of them even completed their PhD. As for placement, the university attracts many top recruiters like Taj Hotels, Bajaj, TCS, Wipro, ITC, etc.
Placement: Every year the placement cell of the Indus International University Una conducts the campus placements for students. When it was my time, they helped me prepare my resume. Then it was sent to various companies. I was called for interviews in 5 companies and was selected by TCS after two rounds of interviews.
Infrastructure: The classrooms or the lecture rooms are massive and have great seating options. You can attend 2 hours long lectures without any issues. Our university also has a cafeteria. There was also an auditorium for meetings and annual functions.
Faculty: My course MBA falls under the faculty of business management. We had a total of 4 teachers for our course. The most experienced one was Dr RK Gupta who has 40 years of teaching experience.
Hostel: There is a hostel for students at the campus which I did not opt for as I was living in Una. I heard from my friends who were staying in the hostel that the building was new but the hostel rooms were not clean at all. The fee was around Rs 3000 per month.
Overall: Indus Internation University Una in my opinion is a feasible university if you are looking for MBA studies with affordable fees. I am residing in Una and was willing to get an MBA admission based on MAT scores. I scored above 90 percentile in MAT hence I was eligible for the scholarship as well. I got 90% concession in my semester fees which was a big relief as I am not financially sound. The admission process of the college was simple and effortless. The university also offers merit-based scholarships to students in need. Overall, the university is good for students willing to pursue an MBA without spending much.
Placement: The placement cell is highly active at IIU. I participated in the campus placement drive and it was a good decision. We were offered mock interviews and mock GD before placements that boosted up our confidence. With the assistance from placement cell, a lot of students from my batch got placed. Currently, I am working at Tracer Pvt. Ltd. at the position of Senior BD.
Infrastructure: IIU has a decent infrastructure. The university has all the amenities available on campus such as modern classrooms, clean washrooms, CCTV cameras for security, a library, an activity centre, an auditorium and more. The canteen does not have a variety of food available but the food is of good quality and affordable.
Faculty: The faculty on campus is highly qualified. For the MBA programme, Niharika Ma'am and AK Gupta Sir make everything simple. Niharika Ma'am has taught us organisational behaviours and leadership skills chapter that I will never forget.
Hostel: I am residing in Una hence I have not opted for the hostel facility. The brochure however explains that separate hostels are available for girls and boys students with all the necessary amenities like RO, geezers, common areas, and spacious rooms for students.
