Overall: At IIU Una, I'm pursuing B.Sc Maths with a merit-based scholarship thanks to my 89% score in Class 12. I received a 50% concession, however, those who scored above 90% received a 90% concession on tuition fees. I paid only 6,000 per semester instead of Rs 12,000. Overall, my first year has been positive.
Placement: Personally, I feel the average placement package (Rs 2.4 LPA) and the highest package of 2023 (Rs 5.7 LPA) is low, especially compared to the fees. Also, the visiting companies like Tracer, Sukhjit Starch and Chemicals Limited,, Bajaj Capital, Grammy, and Fine Switches are primarily mid-sized or smaller firms.
Infrastructure: As a sports enthusiast, I am excited about the outdoor playground and indoor sports complex. Moreover, the institute is planning to build badminton and basketball courts as well. I enjoy playing table tennis in the indoor sports area during the recess hours. Overall, the campus is under development, the current facilities are good: 8 engineering labs, soon to be joined by a massive library, additional science labs, and 45 new classrooms.
Faculty: The faculty, especially Mrs. Tanu, who has completed her post graduation in Mathematics along with B.ed, have been supportive and provided a lot of guidance in my learning journey with their excellent teaching skills.
Hostel: As a hosteller from Howrah in Kolkata, I have moved out of my hometown for the first time and am enjoying the basic facilities like bed, table, chair, wardrobe so far. I appreciate the well-maintained environment and its cleanliness. Also, the mess food is tasty.
Overall: IIU Una is a UGC-approved university and it offers a BBA course which I opted for in 2020 and completed it in 2023. The fees for BBA is Rs 55,000 per year. You can also get merit scholarships up to 90% of the course fee based on Class 12 score.
Placement: BBA course students were well-trained and performed well in the campus placements. Top companies like ITC Hotel, Taj Hotels, TCS, Wipro, etc visit our university campus for placements. I was placed in TCS with a package of Rs 3.45 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classroom building in our university had 45 classrooms with audio-video facilities. There is also a canteen inside the university campus. The canteen offers veg and non-veg food at a reasonable price. IIU Una also has labs for practicals.
Faculty: For the BBA course, the teaching faculty members were very good as they were able to complete the syllabus on time every semester. The teachers were never late to class and included videos in day-to-day teaching to make the process entertaining.
Hostel: Our hostel had a warden who was quite strict and the hostel gate was closed at 8 PM sharp. As for the other facilities at the hostel, there was RO water supply, a mess, a recreational room with TV, indoor and outdoor games, etc.
Overall: The university provides merit-based scholarships to BCA students and I am one of them. I scored 95% marks in class 12 so I was eligible for the 90% scholarship based on merit. After the scholarship, my per semester fees for BCA was just Rs 2000!
Placement: I was unsure if I would get a job or not as I had not done any internship. But thanks to the soft skill training provided by the IIU Una placement cell I did quite well in the interview. I got a package of Rs 2.90 LPA during the campus placement.
Infrastructure: IIU Una has an IT lab on campus which easily hosts all the students of a BCA class. There were modern computers with i5 and i7 chipset. Our university also has hostel accommodations, sports facilities, medical facilities, a canteen, etc.
Faculty: I think the BCA course at IIU has a shortage of teachers because our classes were often delayed. The teachers were overworked but they gave their 100% when teaching us. The teaching faculty used modern technology like audio-video devices to teach us.
Hostel: IIU Una has a separate building for men and women. The hostels have two guards and a warden. Our hostel has a common room with a TV. We also had a small playground near our hostel.
Overall: I am currently pursuing B.Tech CSE at IIU Una. I cleared JEE Main but my rank was very low. Fortunately, not only I got admission in the course but also received a merit-based scholarship as my percentage in Class 12th was 91.4%. The semester fee was Rs 45,000 whereas I paid only Rs 4,500 after receiving a 90% concession fee in the form of scholarship. The total annual fee for B.Tech CSE is Rs 90,000. Overall, my experience in this one year has been satisfactory.
Placement: I am a bit sceptical about the placement statistics. The average package is very low at Rs 2.4 LPA compared to the fees charged. The highest package received in 2023 was Rs 5.7 LPA. Moreover, the recruiters who visited the campus were medium-valued and low-valued companies like Bajaj Capital, Grammy, Fine Switches, Sukhjit Starch and Chemicals Ltd, Tracer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, the facilities provided are good. The campus is undergoing development and we will get access to a lot of facilities like an 18,000 sq. ft. library, more science laboratories, and 45 new classrooms. Currently, we have 8 laboratories for the engineering department. Being a sports enthusiast, I am looking forward to the completion of the outdoor playground and indoor sports complex with badminton and basketball courts. However, most of the sports infrastructure is already complete.
Faculty: It has been a year and I have received the needed support from all the faculty members, especially Mrs Suparti Koul and Mrs Ekta Thakur. A few months back Ms Mandeep Kaur joined our university in the post of assistant professor. Her teaching skills are good and learning has been easy under the guidance of all three professors.
Hostel: I am from Assam and I am a hosteller at IIU Una. There are students from different states like Bihar and UP staying in the hostel. The facilities provided in the hostel are basic with beds, tables, chairs, wardrobes, etc, however, the maintenance is good. Mess food is also prepared under hygienic conditions and tastes good.
Overall: I had one of my best times at IIM Una. I was a postgraduate student from the 2020 batch. Before I share my experience, I would like to share that Kartha Education Society, a part of the Knowledgucate Group of Institutions headquartered in UAE, set up IIU Una. I qualified GATE and was looking for a university in my hometown, eventually taking admission in IIU Una. I want to highlight that you must carry your documents like mark sheets, caste certificate and 4-passport size photographs at the time of admission. Also, please don't lose your registration number. Examinations at IIU Una are conducted twice, the Mid Semester Test (MST) and the Final Semester Test (FST). You can appear in the FST only if you have at least 75% attendance or more.
Placement: Unfortunately, I did not take part in the placement process, however, I am somewhat aware of the placement scenario. The placement statistics at IIU Una are not at all fancy. The highest package is around Rs 5.7 LPA and the average package is less than Rs 2.5 LPA. The university has not been successful in inviting top companies for recruitment yet.
Infrastructure: Truth to be told, I was sceptical at first as the campus was still at its developing stage, but, seeing its fast development over the years, I am glad to be a part of it. The university has completed its first phase of development. Once the campus starts functioning completely, it will have 45 additional state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, an 18,000 sq. ft. library, a fully air-conditioned 250-seater auditorium and many more.
Faculty: I will always be indebted to the faculty members at IIU Una. I received a lot of help from Dr. Rohit Kumar during my final year project. He is a highly educated and professional individual and made learning fun for students like us. Another great mentor was Dr Narendra Kumar. His practical lessons were very good.
Hostel: The university provides accommodation facilities to students but none of my friends opted for hostels. There is a boys hostel with a capacity of 100 students and a girls hostel with 25 seats. During my time at IIU Una, students preferred staying in nearby PGs rather than opting for the university's hostel. I think the issue will be resolved once the university campus becomes fully operational.
Overall: I am Nandkishori a B.Tech in Civil Engineering student at this college. I completed my studies in 2023 and got placed with a package of Rs 4 LPA. In my honest opinion, I think IIU Una is very good for civil engineering. This is because the teachers in my department were highly experienced and the college conducted various workshops to help us grow.
Placement: The placement cell of IIU organises special classes for improving the soft skills of students. Then they take the resume and send it to various companies to schedule interviews. After the interview process, I got selected and received an offer letter of Rs 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has a very modern look and the buildings are well maintained in our college. IIU Una has a canteen, hostel, sports grounds, an auditorium, transportation facility, modern classrooms, and more.

Overall: Being a BBA student at Indus International University, Una, We get good exposure on campus and in the classroom. The campus is spread over a large area with necessary facilities. The hostel rooms are well kept. After college is over everyday we come to our hostel rooms and get time to rest and get good quality food.

The faculty members are punctual with their classes and always keep a track of students and takes lectures seriously.
Hostel: Indus International dorms are really nice, fresh, and clean. Students can find a good space away from home to study and focus for their future. Students need to keep in mind that they have hostel rules and in timings to maintain hostel discipline. The hostel warden Aunty is also very smart and keeps track of all the hostellers and takes attendance during the in time. We have multiple washrooms inside the hostel campus.
Overall: I am quite happy with my B.Com degree at IIU Una. I received the greatest academic and practical instruction possible during my period of study. The IIU Una fees for B.Com was nominal. The course costs Rs 33,000 per year. The programme was three years long. With a 92% in class 12, I was able to get admission based on my merit scores only. Overall, the campus was good, well built and had all the facilities. The curriculum was updated and the class tests were easy.
Placement: Securing a placement opportunity majorly depended on how well your overall academic performance is, along with your consistency in class. I was able to secure a placement opportunity in a transport agency with a salary of Rs 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. We had smart classrooms, a library, laboratories, sports fields, etc. There was also a 250 seater fully air conditioned auditorium. There were more than 45 classrooms. Wifi was present all over the campus and we could access the internet at all times.

Hostel: IIU Una dorm rooms were nice and clean. They were on a sharing basis. Admission was given on a first come first serve basis. The premises also had a small play area for badminton, volleyball, etc.
Overall: I studied MCA at IIU Una. The main reason for joining this college is that very few colleges in Una and nearby areas offer quality MCA education. One of my neighbour was a student here who suggested I should join this college for MCA. My overall experience here was very good. The campus is situated in the vast green land a serene and peaceful environment is there. Earlier I was scared about the fees seeing the infrastructure and campus. To my surprise, the total annual fees were similar to other MCA colleges in our area. I am happy with the college and my decision.
Placement: Placement cell of IIU is very knowledgeable. I remember getting personality development sessions from Ankit sir before our campus placement drive. The placement for MCA is okay but not excellent. I got two offers out of which I chose Fine Switches where I got Rs 2.8 LPA package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on campus is quite decent. We have modern labs with Epson LX-300, LaserJet 1020 and other modern tools for MCA students. The college canteen is decent and we have a lot of warm and homely food available. Other facilities like playground, classroom and library is also good.
Faculty: Faculty at IIU Una deserves appreciation for being so supportive and helpful. Supati Ma'am has supported me a lot when I needed guidance. She calls weaker students to the staff room and helps them to understand the concepts. I thank her for being so supportive.
Hostel: Hostels at IIU are nice. Though I am a nearby resident so I did not opt for hostels but a few of my friends told me that the hostels were nice and clean. The maintenance was very good. Interestingly the mess food was very hygienic and homely.
Overall: Overall IIU Una is a perfect university. It is located in Una, Himachal Pradesh. It is a private university so the fees was a bit high. B.Com fees was Rs 33,000 per year. But the infrastructure provided to us was top class so I can't complain much. Our university has a 250-seater AC auditorium, individual offices for all faculty, an 18,000 Sqft library, etc.
Placement: As a student who got placed during the campus placement, I can say confidence that if you score well then your chances of getting a job increase. I got placed in Bajaj Capital with a package of Rs 2.90 LPA. The package is small but I am expecting to earn more after I switch jobs.
Infrastructure: Our university has a 250-seater AC auditorium for conducting lectures and programmes. Our campus is surrounded by greenery and the campus has high-speed free Wifi. We also have a hostel, a library, 45 classrooms, and other facilities.
