IMEC Institute of Management has its own Industry Institute Interaction and Placement Cell, the purpose of which is to provide students with proper assistance throughout the entire placement process. Abbreviated as IIIPC, the placement cell at IMEC refers to its PGDM programme and its association with the industry. The objective of IMEC’s placement cell, IIIPC, is to bridge the gap between the institute and the industry as well as to offer live projects and some other developmental activities which prove to be beneficial for both.
The role of IIIPC at IMEC include certain functions like acting as a medium offering professional education to industry, identifying gaps of IT skills in the industry, addressing the student community about all the recent industry updates throughout the global business world by seminars/ workshops/ guest lectures/ live projects, thereby making them industry-ready, etc. IMEC's IIIPC focuses on the parameters of Joint Consultancy Projects and Internship and Full Time Placement for the mutual benefits of industry and institute. IMEC plans on joint consultancy projects with some top companies in the areas of Human Resource Management (HRM), Financial Planning, Organisation Development, and Marketing Management. The students of PGDM have to go through an internship of three months after their third semester, prior to the completion of programme and full time placements.
IMEC has collaborated with several leading companies in order to provide placement assistance to students. In order to facilitate the placement opportunities for the PGDM students, IMEC focuses on the some critical components of the placement process like Group Discussions, Aptitude training, Mock Interviews, Professional Grooming, Managerial Skills, Interpersonal Communication Skills, and other required soft skills while training students. In addition to the three months of rigorous internship, some short term industrial training programmes are also arranged for students.

Placement: The placement team of IMEC Rudrapur consists of hardworking and dedicated people who leave no stones unturned to help the students get picked up by the reputed companies like Ashok Leyland, TATA Motors, ICICI Bank, JustDial etc.
Placement: Every year more than 60% of the students get placed during the campus recruitment drive and the rest also get placed in the off-campus placement process. The salary package offered to the students is pretty good too. The average package offered to the students is between INR 3.5 LPA and 5 LPA.
