Women Empowerment: Scholarship Scheme for Girl child

Founder of ICoFP and Bajaj Capital, Mr. KK Bajaj strongly believes that educating the girl child is the key to empowering women. ICoFP is India’s premier institute in Financial Services Education, promoted by Bajaj Capital Group. Based on the inspiration of Mr. KK Bajaj, ICoFP has launched the scholarship scheme for girl child to provide encouragement and support to pursue higher education.

Eligibility

  • The scheme is applicable only for girl child who wish to take admissions in regular, full time post graduate programs. Distance mode of education is not covered.
  • A student who has scored at least 55% in Graduation and 75% in 10th & 12th are eligible to receive scholarship.

*The scholarship ranges from Rs. 20,000—Rs. 1,50,000 depending upon the eligibility criteria and based on the entrance exam and personal interviews.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

In order to promote Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) and meritocracy in the education system, ICoFP offers scholarships to candidates who have exhibited superior academic performance in past. If a candidate qualifies any one of the following criteria, the candidate qualifies for some discount on the program fee as scholarship:

  • 65% marks in graduation in an undergraduate course from Delhi University
  • 90%+ score in CAT examination held up to 1 calendar year before the date of application in ICoFP.

The exact amount of scholarship is a function of multiple subjective factors such as performance in selection procedure of ICoFP, academic performance in 10th & 12th examination, choice of courses in past, mode of education, ranking of graduation college etc
