IISM Mumbai admissions 2024 is ongoing. IISM Mumbai offers admission to 5 different courses for all sorts of educational levels and conducts an internal examination called the Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT) or Sports Science Admission Test (SSAT). SMAT/SSAT exam fees is Rs 2149. Students will have to attempt this common entrance test to get admission into the International Institute of Sports & Management Mumbai. Moreover, IISM Mumbai also has a very strong Research Journal wing, which has the Sports Academia-Research Journal (SARJ) which is India’s first Sports Research Journal launched by the institute.

The IISM Mumbai admission portal is available online throughout the year for the convenience of the candidates. They can also visit the campus and get the application filled out or choose this online admission portal.
Candidates need to register first using the below link and then fill in the IISM Mumbai application form after the email verification is done. The procedure is very simple and is also explained on the official website in a step-by-step manner.
The IISM Mumbai only considers direct applications as the other entrance examinations are not a right fit to understand the sports industry protocols and strategies for businesses in sports, hence, the IISM Mumbai has its exam that is to be attempted by the candidates after the direct application procedure is done.
Candidates have to complete their Class 12 from a recognised board and secure 40% aggregate for admission into the bachelor and have to finish the graduation program from a recognised university in India with 40% to get enrolled into the master's or postgraduate courses at the IISM Mumbai.
IISM Mumbai won’t consider any external entrance examinations, hence the counselling procedure does not apply to the admissions. The internal assessment taken by the institute is the only eligibility criteria for admission into the International Institute of Sports Management.
The minimum percentage at the HSC and graduation level is 40% in all subjects for the candidates who belong to the open category and the applicants who belong to the reserved category.
1. Candidates need to clear the internal exam SMAT (Sports Management Admission Test). The entrance exam will be for 80 Marks and includes subjects such as Quantitative Analysis, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Sports Awareness.
2. Essays/Caselets and overall performance will cover academic scores, sports achievements and extra-curricular activities for 100 marks.
3. Candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% in Stage 1 to qualify for Stage 2 of the SMAT examination which consists of the panel interview that in total is for 120 marks.
4. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60% cumulative of Stages 1 and 2 to secure admission at IISM Mumbai.
5. As per GICED and University of Mumbai guidelines, the complete IISM Mumbai admission process will be confirmed only after the submission of final exam passing documents. Because the students would be getting admissions before their final results for Class 12/Graduation and the admissions are only on a provisional basis until then.

Post this application, applicants are requested to verify their email (a link is sent). After verification, a small form asking for academic details is to be filled out by the candidate, then pay the application fee of Rs 2149 and upload the scanned copies of the documents and that finishes the procedure for application at IISM Mumbai.

The IISM Mumbai accepts the Joint Entrance Examination and the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. A lot of other examinations are considered such as the below.
