GGSIPU Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

GGSIPU New Delhi’s 60.48-acre campus includes everything a student may possibly need for their academic and personal growth. Dwarka, in the heart of Delhi's capital, is the site of the university's Dwarka campus. The University's mission is to provide students with a stimulating academic environment and cutting-edge resources to help them succeed in their careers. 

GGSIPU Delhi's campus has a variety of educational establishments, including schools and special centres, as well as classrooms and housing for students and professors. There is also a 24-hour healthcare facility and an administrative building on the site. Additional facilities include a sports field for indoor and outdoor games, a gymnasium with an ATM and a library, a meal hall, and a variety of retail options.

Hostel 

• GGSIPU hostel is huge and well-appointed, with a large dining hall available. Each hostel includes a live-in warden and a faculty member who manages the lodging. Due to the restricted number of beds available in the university's dormitories, acceptance to GGSIPU University does not guarantee a place in one of them. Accommodation is available to students at GGSIPU based on a variety of reasons. For married students, there is a separate hostel. Both boys and girls can stay in one of two hostels.
• There is a Shivalik and Aravalli Boys Hostel for the boys, and Nilgiri and Satpura Girls Hostels for female students at this location. A cot, chair, table, and other necessities are provided in each of the hostel's dorm rooms.
• There are 360 beds at the hostel, which is both on-campus and a girls-only facility. There are 360 rooms and 360 beds in this in-campus hostel.

Library

• An impressive assortment of books and periodicals is available at the GGSIPU library. Digital learning resources like ACM Digital Library, DELNET, EBSCO, SCIRUS, INFLIBNET and many more are also supported by it.

Gym: 

• Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has a gymnasium on campus. Students at the University have access to a gymnasium where they may work out and maintain their health and fitness. Equipment for exercise and training is plentiful at the gym. Using the gym helps students maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Sports Complex: 

Basketball Court| Cricket Ground| Fitness Track| Running Track/Kabaddi Field/Volleyball Court are all available facilities.  Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Students may play a variety of sports on campus, including basketball, badminton, tennis courts, cricket, and football fields, both indoors and out. A running track may be found on the university sports ground. Weightlifting, taekwondo, hiking, and mountaineering are all encouraged on campus.

Cafeteria: 

• GGSIPU cafeteria amenities include Chinese, Indian, and South Indian food, all of which are served in air-conditioned comfort. On-campus, there is another café that serves coffee and snacks.

Auditorium: 

• As of 2010, GGSIPU Delhi Convention Centre features two auditoriums and three lecture halls, as well as one committee room and a training room. Uses include presentations at academic conferences and seminars as well as slide and film exhibitions.

Medical Facility: 

• Since its founding in 1973, the Health Centre at Jawaharlal Nehru University has worked to provide all aspects of health care to students, including prevention, treatment, and promotion. However, there is also a CGHS dispensary on campus for University employees.

WIFI: 

• Internet access is available in all of the university's buildings and guesthouses via high-speed wireless internet access (Wifi). Teachers, students, and support staff on campus may now readily access data, voice, multimedia, and video conferencing services, as well as research and e-learning tools thanks to the implementation of next-generation wireless technology in the campus' wifi networks.
   

IT Infrastructure: 

• In-house usage of e-mail, computers, and internet services are available to all students, project staff and academic members at GGSIP University  New Delhi. Students have access to a wide range of electronic services provided by this university institution, including literature search, calculation, and graphics.
   

Laboratories of GGSIPU New Delhi 

• They are air-conditioned and furnished with a wide range of cutting-edge instruments for use in a wide range of disciplines. Some 40 students may do experiments at the same time, thanks to their high-tech facilities. 
• Among the devices at the laboratory are a UV spectrophotometer, an Orbitex shaker, a UV transilluminator, a rotary flask shaker, a UV transilluminator with an air compressor, and a hot-air oven with a digital temperature controller. 
• Facilities that are currently available: Laboratory for Civil Engineering, Laboratory for Chemistry, Laboratory for Computers, Laboratory for Electronics, Laboratory for Mechanical Engineering, Laboratory for Physics, Laboratory for Digital Electronics and Signal Processing, Laboratory for Multimedia, Laboratory for VLSI and embedded system design, Laboratory for Electrical Science and Signal & System Design, Laboratory for Control System and Microwave Devices & Circuits, Laboratory for Engineering Drawing, Laboratory for DBMS & Open Source, Laboratory for Bioreaction Engineering, Laboratory for Java Programming, Laboratory for Robotics, and Laboratory.

Store: 

• There are a few convenience businesses on the GGSIPU campus to help students with their everyday purchasing needs.

Alumni: 

• Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University prides itself on the fact that it has more than 81,000 alumni. Their career paths have taken them through a variety of fields ranging from sociology to science to literary criticism to public service to foreign language proficiency to positions of leadership in government and business over the better part of three decades. Students and employees can park their cars at the University's parking garage.

Guest House: 

• Aravali Guest House, Gomti Guest House, and Nilgiri International Guest House are all guest homes on the GGIPU campus. Official and non-official visitors of JNU Workshops, Seminar Symposia Conferences and Training Programs, organised by the University, its Centers and departments and supported by the UGC can stay in any of these facilities.
• The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has an SBI branch and its ATMs as part of its financial amenities.
