Overall: This program in rural management provides wonderful exposure through fieldwork segments during summer internships and through VFS & IFS. The practical implications of whatever we learn are seen during this fieldwork. In college, we are not students; we are all participants, which means we are as responsible for the growth of the college's reputation and image as they are for our growth and getting us ready for real-life exposure.
Infrastructure: The college has 9 Lecture Halls, separate spaces for sports activities, and a recreation room. The campus itself is a piece of art. From chimes to the trees surrounding hostels, all these provide you with fulfillment.
Faculty: The faculties in this college come from various backgrounds, from research to industry experience, and are also involved in several government projects. These faculty members help students apply theoretical knowledge in the real world through several cases, their experience in industry, and different projects.
Hostel: It has 17 hostels + quarters. Except for one, all the hostel rooms are assigned to individual students. This arrangement helps students to have their own private space and also focus on their studies.
Overall: I joined IRMA in 2017 when I was naive and unsure about what I wanted to do in my life. In 2019, I got out of IRMA a young woman with a strong passion for bringing a positive change to our nation. Since then, I have been involved with a number of NGOs and social enterprises to help them improve their operations so that their benefits can reach a larger number of people. I owe it to IRMA for the fulfilling and rewarding life that I am living right now.
Overall: The two years at IRMA were the most productive of my entire life. The faculty and industry experts at IRMA can inspire any person to be the best versions of themselves. My peers also challenged me at every stage to improve myself. It felt like two years at IRMA crammed more knowledge and learning than 4 years of my graduation. I would like to thank IRMA for bringing out the best in me and helping me become better than I ever thought I could be.
Overall: From my graduation days, I wanted to do an MBA. So, when I ultimately made it to IRMA’s PGDM programme, I was faced with a dilemma. I belong to Tamil Nadu and I had never stayed outside before. So, the thought of going to an entirely new place and studying bothered me somewhat. Ultimately, I decided to let go of my fear and just go through with it. That was the best decision that I made with respect to my education. The professors and industry experts at IRMA were worth their salt in every sense of the word. All in all, I can safely say that today I owe all my professional success to IRMA and the people I had the opportunity to meet there!
Overall: I belong to Anand, Gujarat, and despite wanting to pursue a post graduation in management, my family situation didn’t allow me to leave my hometown in pursuit of higher education. I didn’t give up hope and when a senior of mine told me about IRMA, I knew that that’s exactly where I needed to be. I worked hard to ensure that I made it to IRMA and once I got in, it was better than I had ever imagined! In my own hometown itself, I got the education that I had dreamed of. Right out of IRMA, I started working with Amul and now, I am helping expand our family business and take it to the next level. I thank IRMA & all the brilliant professors who transformed my life for the better.
Overall: I used to be pretty clueless about my career aspirations while pursuing my graduation. I thought of pursuing a post graduation might help me get a better sense of direction in my career. So, I decided to pursue PGDM and being from Gujarat, I was happy that I made it to IRMA. I did their PGDM Rural Management programme and in the span of those two years, I went from being clueless about my career to being extremely passionate about bringing positive change in India’s rural economy & grassroots level. I can safely say that I owe my professional career to IRMA and the wonderful people I met there!
Overall: I had no idea what to do after completing my graduation. I didn’t get placed and wasn’t succeeding in getting a decent job either. I decided to pursue PGDM and being from Gujarat, I naturally came across IRMA. After exploring the institute and speaking with a few alumni, I knew this was the place I needed to take my career to new heights. The two years at IRMA were everything that I had hoped for and even more! That place transformed me as a person and made me a better version of myself. I got placed in the organisation of my choice before the PGDM was complete and I have been working there for almost 2 years now! Overall, I can say that IRMA is a place where you will find the motivation to improve yourself every single day!
Overall: I always wanted to pursue MBA/PGDM since I was in school but I hadn’t heard about rural management before coming across IRMA. After giving it a good thought, it made a lot of sense; well over half of our country’s population lives in a rural setting which not only makes it a bigger market but the fact that agriculture is the primary source of income implies that even the urban market is highly dependent on the performance of the rural. Well, it was a eureka moment that led from not having heard of rural management to pursuing PGDM in rural management from IRMA. And I must say, that epiphany was a godsend and I couldn’t have made a better decision. The time I spent at IRMA transformed my life for the better! Thank you so much, IRMA!
Overall: When I first came across IRMA, it struck a chord with me because coming from a rural household gave me a sense of belonging and an inspiration to do something for my hometown. I decided to pursue PGDM in rural management from IRMA and that was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career. The campus was beautiful, the faculty - impeccable, my peers - highly intellectual, and my time there was extremely memorable. All in all, I can say that IRMA shaped me into a better human being and today I am a social entrepreneur helping farmers adopt organic farming practices and improve their productivity.
Overall: I was a part of the PGDM RM 2021 batch at IRMA. I joined IRMA since I am from Vadodara and it was the best option to pursue PGDM that was close to home. Firstly, the campus is magnificent, to say the least. There are all kinds of curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular facilities provided for students. The two years at IRMA were probably the best 2 years of my life because not only did I get to learn from the best professors in the country but also made friendships that will last a lifetime! Thank you IRMA for making all my dreams come true!!
