After the completion of term III of the PGDM(RM) programme, the Summer Internship Segment (SIS) at the Institute of Rural Management Anand is a nine-week long internship session scheduled between June and August. The IRMA summer internship seeks to provide students with the chance to collaborate directly with seasoned management experts in firms from a variety of industries. Students receive hands-on experience and a realistic understanding of the managerial duties of rural organisations and development solutions. In addition, it provides opportunities for applying and understanding theories, skills, and practises taught throughout the classroom segments and Village Fieldwork Segment (VFS).
Institute of Rural Management Anand, or more commonly known as IRMA successfully completed its placement drive for the outgoing batch of 2017. The total strength of the batch was 169 students and the institute successfully placed these students in various companies and achieved 100% placements in the season.

UNICEF visited the IRMA campus for the first time and rolled out 5 job offers for the students.
Average salary was Rs. 10.22 Lakh per annum.

Companies that visited the IRMA campus for placements were majorly from the development sector. These included Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), Government Development Agencies and other Cooperatives.
The development sector offered students an average salary of Rs. 9.37 Lakhs per annum while the corporate sector's average offering stood at Rs. 10.57 Lakh per year.
A total of 92 companies participated in the placement process, offering 220 offers to the students.

Placement: IRMA (Institute of Rural Management Anand) has a proven placement track record irrespective of how the economy is performing globally.
